kinda... usually abstract is either a joke or follows some basic rules but is "a vibe"... either it is like some colors and random paintings and so on which people will trye to connect to something it should represent... and now some artists really do it like that. but as it was born. abstract art is an ironic joke and a way for artists to clown on people who don't understand art, but will talk about it trying so seem interested, or smart... as it was created it was litterally clowning on rich people who only "liked" art to seem more complex and with higher status... abstract art is the only one u can't understand, because, unlike people ussualy try to do, u can't understand or give it a meaning. it just is. that's why, after a time it became more than a joke, because some artist found a beauty in doing something and exploring the fact it is something that even though it may have been doing with some intent it now doesnt have a meaning. because u don't know what it means.

The art world is where rich people save money. I'm an aircraft mechanic and got to sit through a 5 hour flight with a multimillionaire. He explained to me that he hires an artist to create an art piece for him. Then he pays off an appraiser and after having this art appraised for millions he donates it and uses it as a tax write off.

Okay it took me a second to understand, so this is how I see it, the art was called “veganism”, the one character also says the artist smeared feces on the canvas, and then says he conveyed “bullshit with extra steps” and it was crap smeared with a ladder next to it, therefore calling veganism bullshit with extra steps, it’s actually really clever😂
