This video shows 8 years worth of improvement, and I’m still trudging along! As long as I’m able to, I’ll continue to draw and improve on what I love to do most! 😊🎨 I also hope this motivates all of you to keep going! Even if you feel like you aren’t in the place you wanna be right now, just keep it up and you WILL get there eventually. I promise! 🙌✨
Ah this was really motivating, and I feel like a lot of people that are struggling with this need to realize that art is a journey and that overtime after practicing and continuing to draw eventually your art will get better. To whoever that is your doing great, and you should keep it up ❤
I have the entire prologue posted on Pinterest if you wanna read it 😊 Its an older comic of mine that unfortunately got canceled, but the prologue is completed so
I know how to do art and can do it decently but the problem is I can’t find a style. I see all the other artists online with there style and I love it but I don’t know how to find my own. Any tips?
I’d say just focus on the fundamentals for now. It took me a while to realize that I should’ve focused on fundamentals like anatomy and color first because it would make everything easier in the long run. At the same time too, you can always do style studies of artists that inspire you and pull traits from them that you might wanna incorporate into your art! :) For instance, growing up I heavily referenced art from Riverspirit345 and Qwerts, and I’ve studied art from Horikoshi, the author of My Hero Academia :D
Ever single time anyone tells me 'Oh, you're so good at art' I tell them 'thanks this is 10+ years of practice' or if someone says 'Oh, I wish I could draw as good as you' I tell them ' Be quiet will ya? This is 10+ YEARS of practice and I STILL have a long way to go! So take your dreams and actually accomplish them! Like the dream to be as good as me. If you try to accomplish that then you've only made your yourself happy and your younger self.' they always end up shutting their mouths idk if they don't know what to say or was my honesty too much- either way I'm glad they shut their mouths because Im trying to draw over hear and even if I've gotten better I STILL STRUGGLE with hands- like- why do my hands have 4 fingers most of the time and only 5 fingers a few time!?! 😭 It's honestly very annoying 😔
