Art journaling and marking making play. 

In this video , I show you how I have made an accordion style art journal out of repurposed paintings, art pages, and papers that were painted over with acrylic paints in more solid colours. I show you the bright acrylic backgrounds and how they inform my art journal and mark making play. This is such a fun and relaxing way to create art.
I show you how I choose specific colours and marks that I enjoy overtop an already dried acrylic background on each page.
In an earlier video, I show I paint over unfinished works on paper, and this is one way to use them in a new way.
I use a variety of materials but mostly the following:
98lb and 140 lb watercolour paper cut in strips.
scissors
UHU stick Magic blue
Stabilo Woody watersoluble crayons
Koi coloring brush pens
Posca paint pens, bronze medium tip, white fine tip, light grey fine tip, pink rose in medium tip.
Uniball Signo gold fine pen
Staedtler Lumocolour permanent black pen in angle tip
Supracolour II Soft pencil crayons by Caran D'ache
Derwent Inktense pencil in orange and poppy red.
