Not really, the sound is extremely grating in this game compared to Fatal Fury 2 on the same console, or even Samurai Shodown. The latter 2 have better sounding music, and the voices aren't like nails to chalkboard.

@@Bloodreign1 for a Nintendo fan it is obvious that it irritates him, for me many versions of genesis have a better sound than snes. a clear case is sunsetriders

As a Megadrive fan this conversion is beyond crap, the Snes version wipes the floor with this version, usually the SNES had poor neogeo conversions but it did this game well.

i'm not a fan of megadrive but the snes conversion is horrible and the sound pretty bad compared to megadrive

@@facundorodriguez7032 You know, I notice a trend with those in either Brazil (or some Latin American countries, at least those areas had the sense to prefer SNK over Capcom) or Europe, we get it, most of the people from those areas are Mega Drive fanboys. I live in an area (the US) where both consoles sold well (though the SNES outsold the Genesis here), and we had access to both, and from owning copies of both in this day and age for my collection, and playing both enough, this version is absolutely horrible with it's sound effects and voices, you don't have to be a Nintendo fanboy to see this. Sorry bud, but that's just the facts.

The gameplay in sega version is better

No it isn't, at times the CPU can be very, very cheap, cheaper than the arcade version at times. Could turn a lot of potential players off. SNES version is a bit better balanced.

@@Bloodreign1 I think you or the people you are refering to need to train a little more so, i can complete the game without losing a round and im not an expert on the game

I stand by my statement, the arcade version is the hardest, then the Sega version (I've had the CPU cheap me out enough playing on real hardware), then the SNES version, which is better balanced overall. Hell Art of Fighting 2 is even easier on SFC because the CPU seems to fall for jump kicks from certain distances far more than the hard as nails arcade version.

it's easy when you perform the triangle jump kick (and it's a lifesaver against Lee and Mr. Big)
