I'm glad to watch this and see who is that man creating Valentino now. Not only he is an Artist, a designer but an intellectual ... and what's more about knowing this world we are living that to know and learn about people, just every one 😁😊... I love that "I don't care who you are, what you do" I was raised in that similar state of mind so you can learn more about the world. One can talk to a homeless, a beggar, bunch of nomadic tribes, Arab dalt traders, a mental ill person, a prisoner, an Artist, s Billionaire, a Tech genius, s Photographer, an Amazonians, poet, movie director,... just Same, Standard beauty and Rules, Globalization that destroy Beauty. And after you've learned and keep on learning you don't forget yourself, your culture, your roots at least if you have one because some places they have appropriated people's identity and culture they don't know who they are, what they want to be is always alike, like somebody else. Amazing to see what gives birth to creativity. The person's genius who can produce such beauty season after season, year after year while remaining relevant must be formidable. To present a part of his (or her) soul in a lifetime, giving a piece of who they are over and over...from where does this ability come? It is much more than talent, it must be a spark of the same creativity that was present in the beginning and spoke out of darkness, "Light...Be!" and it was so. For people who are privileged to own pieces springing out of the designer's genius, I wonder, do they take this piece of art for granted or, are they grateful for the entire life of what they wear or own and admire each stitch, each gem being set, each rustle or susurrus of their gown as they pass by the red carpet cameras....I wonder....

I honestly think that Valentino can become the Chanel of Rome -- this guy is very lucid in what he is doing, but he needs to branch out even more into accessories and especially perfume.

It is very simple to dress a beautiful woman. Young girl is beauteous and would remain being so if you even put sackcloth on her. How high are you able to raise an ordinary woman towards perfection without any dissonance? Most of the splendid dresses presented would emphasize elements of natural imperfection rather then beauty.
Well, as he said Beauty is sometimes imperfection. I personally am out of shape, in my 40's and I am convinced I would feel royal wearing one of his creations. Alas I will never find out, lol!
