It's pretty sad knowing that the school exist, and the characters doesn't.

Oh man... somehow, I was expecting to see Ton-chan in his aquarium :/

Went there last year. If you go, go there on a Sunday. They have an open music session in the auditorium. A yellow Yamaha Hipgig drum kit (the kind Ritsu uses in the show) is set up on the stage, and local kids take turns playing guitar, bass, drums, and keys, playing the music from the show. It's absolutely amazing.

All the way down to the broken fan... the attention to detail is astounding

imagine the people that went into that school and started watching k on without realizing that the school they used is this

No... I just saw this in 2019. I went to Japan in 2017 and didn't know about this. I would have totally gone :(

I knew they based the school off of a real school in Japan but I had no idea they actually replicated an entire building. This is really cool and I'm definitely adding this to my list of places to go when I finally visit Japan.

I"m not gonna lie. When I saw the rabbits and turtles on the staircase, I let out a bit of a fangirl squee! And part of me wonders if the PARENTS now are the ones that want their kid to go to that elementary school, just so they have an excuse to enjoy K-On! for themselves.

when you saw the things in the club room, It's like "HTT was here"

I was a bit disappointed that the club room wasn't made to look like it does in the show, but still amazing nonetheless. I almost cried, 10/10

I'm gonna say this once... K-ON is one of THE best slice of life music animes out there!!

Nearly teared up. I have so much memories attributed to a place I've never been.

Japanese schools look awesome, as in there's long, straight hallways, and open spaces everywhere.

I am crying right now; why does it feel like I've been to this place before? This shows the power of music and amazing story telling. Any news if this place is still there? I wish to put it on my bucket list.

So cool to see the attention to detail that Kyoto Animation brought to the series. Like walking through a movie set. 😎

I’m sorta late to watching this anime, I only finished a few months ago. Can’t believe I was pretty much a decade late, and I now count K-On! as one of my favorite animes to date. Hopefully one day I’ll set foot in this place with my guitar slung over my back and play a few familiar tunes from the show. What a dream come true that would be.

In a way, bronies are pretty similar to otakus in a sense that the things they enjoy are usually thought to be targeted towards children. People can like whatever they like and shouldn't be judged based on their interests. Simple as that. Not to mention, the current MLP show has adult humor and clever writing that even adults can appreciate.
