Watching the progress of your art room made me wanna rearrange my work own art space. So I got new curtains, some shelves for my paper merch and moved everything around. Your videos are always fun and inspiring and I love your space. So glad you finally got it ready.
Your room is literally an inspiration station, I can’t imagine anyone ever getting artist block with all of those beautiful prints, dolls and supplies to inspire something new every time.
The room looks a lot bigger too. I also love to be surrounded by stuff that I love, in what I call my sanctuary room. I keep it to one room so as not to overcrowd the rest of the house. I love seeing people’s reactions to my sanctuary room, especially since I always leave it till last. The rest of the house has a beach vibe to it.
@@BayleeJae You could display some of them in the living room, along with some of your other art, if there's wall space to make a gallery of your art. Then anyone who visits would get to see some of your original art up close. Or even display a few things in your bedroom.
Hello Baylea, Old subscriber first comment. Cannot believe how quickly you and your friends have moved all that from old art room to this which looks so much nicer! was wondering how you would fit everything in WOW what a difference! Everything happens for a reason and you just oooooze inspiration...….so proud of you, love watching and learning all the time. Thank You Hugs from England.
I actually think I like this room better than your downstairs art room! I think it's because it's lighter, and feels more like an art room. Clean, fresh and more trendy!
I love it! I would never have so many things out myself, because I have OCD and get overwhelmed easily. But I can still appreciate how nice this looks. I especially love the wall with all the art. don't think it looks cluttered because it is orderly and clean. What matters is that you feel good in it.
I will never forget watching one of your old zkittyz art station tours, with the "Aaaaaaanything from the trolley?" Makes me realize how long I've been around watching your videos!
Minute 14 made me happy. lol. Love the room it has almost like a different atmosphere from the old room. Where you get the cases for you collectables? We could definitely use some in my house my hubby keeps everything from his life, hoarder style but it'll all pretty cool.
That top shelf in the closet looks ready to snap from the weight of all that stuff on it, you should get some brackets or similar to reinforce it so it doesn't collapse! 😯
So glad it came together! I love how you organized the pin board and how you put the white fabric over it. It matches well with the rest of the room :D
It’s cool how you have enamel pins and buttons!! I am also addicted to those.. I mean, how can you not love these?? I think it’d be great if you made a video on how you make those, where to get the materials, etc. If you already do, woo!!! I’m going to go watch those now. Well after the video.
I noticed that your oils are the water soluble oil paints do you mix them with regular oil paint? I could not tell if all of the paints were of the water soluble kind. Please show us how you use the oil paints Soon! I hope you are happy with the new room and we are all looking forward to seeing your next art video ! Have a Grand Day!
I do have some regular oils (Gamblin) but I just got them and haven't used them yet. I'll have to research to see if they can be used with my old ones. I just assumed I wouldn't be able to.
@@BayleeJae I did a lot of research too and depending upon which brand you can mix up to 30% of solvent based oil paint with water based oil paints and still use water for clean up but your safer staying at 10% to keep the solvents from destroying the catalyst that keeps the water-based molecules intact. Almost sounds like I know what I am talking about, but I am just parroting what I read!
It's also possible to use the different oil paint types in the same painting by layering. You would use the water-mixable oils first, and once those are dry, you could use regular oils on top. Follow the "lean to fat/fat over lean" rule for oils!
🤗Baylee, Great job on the new Art Room! I wholehartedly agree with you, I am a visual creative person too, so seeing awe-inspiring things is helpful for my creative process, as well. Love the artwork and super cute Disney collection of dolls. All the best, Crystal from NYC 😊
Meanwhile, my art "room": all of my art supplies chaotically strewn across whatever room I've decided to draw in. Where's that one pen I was inking with? Who knows! Maybe it's mixed up in my blankets, maybe it fell into the hell pit between my bed and my wall, maybe a gnome ate it! Whatever happened, it's gone now! 🙃
You should get another Kallax from Ikea to place under the window. That would eliminate two of the shelfs you have now. And make room for all you books, pens and that printer. And you can add on drawers to it now too.
Actually seeing your whole room at one time make me realize how much you had to carry up those stairs. Its so nice you made something great out if a shitty situation though !
Love watching room tours, this year it's sad for me due to the fact I lost my home with all my collections in the #CampFire in Paradise, Ca on Nov. 8th
Love the Art Room! You are such a inspiration, your personality is just so fabulous and you always make me and probably others so happy when we see a new video of yours! :) I hope you never stop your passion and just letting you know, we all love you! :) x
of course it's your choice but I think having a few darker pieces of furniture against the white looks really nice, just a bit of contrast in all the bright ^^ your room really came together well! what will the old spooky ooky art room become?
Yeah, it especially helps balance out the darkness of the monitors/computer. The old room will become a guest room, which is what this room used to be.
You should put the nightmare before Christmas art in a shadow box, after you fix it of course. That way you wouldn’t have to worry about it getting or missing pieces again.
I love the way your art studio looks. You always do a fantastic job of decorating and arranging your room. I was just wondering, do you miss the workspace your other desk provided? The desks you're using now are smaller and the actual workspace looks tiny to me, so I was wondering. :)
Did you ever have the thought after the flood, that you jinxed yourself by thinking your Art Room Tour wasn’t going to be that different. The cosmic universe does strange things (place spooky music here). It looks wonderful, and currently no dead insect carcasses.... ;)
Your room is sooo nice! How do you keep it so CLEAN?? I store everything away because I do NOT like seeing dusty stuff. things get dusty within a day or two after cleaning and it drives me nuts
I did roll my cables with elastics, aside from the ones that were too short (I showed it all up close in a recent vlog). The space above the door isn't high enough to fit dolls.
Hi! I'm about 10 months late.. HAHA! I was wondering if you could tell me where you got your copic case! I live in England so if the case is from a store that isn't in England please let me know if you have any other suggestions! Thank you!
I only have a few since I downsized my collection. There's a Death Note box set, Bakuman, Black Butler (which I haven't even read - woops), Vampire Knight, Absolute Boyfriend, and Brody's Ghost.
