This was so Awesome, it brought back a very happy memory. I attended Bethune Elementary in Temple, Texas back in 1971 through 1973, my town had just segregated. Not a Happy situation for some of us. My 4th grade teacher was Mrs. Crockett. Sometimes during Art class she would open about six jars of paint and let us put small gobs of paint on thick white or beige art paper and fold them shut and mash them gently and then open them up. The result, to me anyway, was always Beautiful! Mrs Crockett would then take a black art pen and draw little faces on them for you. They were adorable. I always framed mine and hung them on my wall. I always felt it was Magical then, and seeing you You finding the Magic now is truly Beautiful! This is such an outstanding Video! Thanx For Creating These Gorgeous Drawings! 🎨🖌🖼🎨🖌🖼🎨🖌🖼
oh Cathy Thank you for sharing! I love Mrs Crockett for finding the images and faces in everything for the kids, so magical indeed. That is so sweet. what an amazing woman ! thank you again for telling your story ,. love and light to you , -Cara
@@pagancrafting Yes, she was a Beautiful Lady and a Great Teacher, when I look back, she was one of the best memories of being a child of the 70's. 💗💗💐💐💗💗
I do this as well!!! Oh my god I can't believe I found someone who also does intuitive drawing and divination/scrying!! I mostly use watercolor, but you really inspired me to use more ink as well! Thank you so much. I'm over the moon that I found you!
ive used watercolor as well but i found the ink will do more weird stuff and goes in fun directions that i can plan. have you tried automatic drawing ? its like automatic writing, you go in to a trance and start writing, but in this case draw draw draw, I've been doing that since i was a little girl, and talking to spirits, or my guides that way. anyhoo, you will love playing with drawing ink ! love and light to you and yours -Cara
@@pagancrafting I have used ink for its unpredictability but not really in my intuitive drawings. And yes, I absolutely know automatic drawing!! In my last video I shared a tiny fragment of me being in a state like this, but I feel like that's a very vulnerable state to be in, so I usually don’t share it. I described it as “no thoughts just paint! I'm still experimenting with how my art changes compared to normal painting and drawing. I use it to communicate with spirits too (but I’m still learning) and to help me with my shadow work! It's so refreshing to talk about this with a follow practitioner. I'm so happy I found your channel!! Sending lots of warmth your way!
@@daswitchling that is so awesome I will have to check out that video , Yes indeed it can be a vulnerable state to be in , I have a lot of protection of white light around me, I let only in those that are here for good. we should talk about doing a cool art magic colab !
@@daswitchling yippie ! Im so excited, we are kindred I ve been enjoying your videos , We could get some other art witches involved too , i will email you :) -Cara
Cathy, thank you for sharing this experience. I had totally forgot about doing something similar in grade school. I believe only once. But it brought it back! I love it when we are able to share and grow from our collective Blessings 🧙
OK, where to start....I have never done ink scrying or blotting. You have opened my eyes to a whole different level of cool! Besides you being an amazing artist, to pull that Lady out of that ink blot was beautiful ❤️ I first saw a Fairie with wings where the hearts were, (so kind of facing the opposite way). I also saw the sentinel, (that was one of those "happy dances when you said it, cuz I said, 'me too'!") lol😆 I'm glad you did another video using the ink products you made showing the variety of things we can do with them. Thank you for sharing 😊 Blessings 🧙
its so much fun too! , turning off the left brain, and quieting the mind . Its wonderful. so therapeutic too.it was fun to mess around with all the colors and see how the reacted with one another. sending you healing love and light for your back xoxo
