You offer so much in your videos! I love the results of your series. I got attracted to your channel when you were working with oil pastels. I was intrigued, had never tried them, so I bought a set. I usually work with gouache combined with one and ink…half drawing, half painting, so I’m still an oil pastel novice. Hope you’ll do some again.

The part I like is the in the center painting-the bottom looks like waves splashing. I grew up going to the Oregon coast and I’ve seen a lot of bad paintings of waves, but I really liked yours even though they are foliage, not waves. I love raspberry red with grey green, always attracts my eye.

Can I suggest that you find images painted by Piet Mondrian in his development of minimalism. His stages of reduction may be of interest.

Your painting reminded me of a Van Gogh painting very loose I liked it and am looking forward to seeing more of what you can do ❤

Try keeping the spacing of the trees from the ten year old painting. The spacing and regularity of them in the new paintings looses some of the dynamic interest of the earlier one. I love the new way you’re painting the trees though. (Also I love your stuff and creativity and everything 🥰)
