What a wonderful video! I think you're studio is beautiful, Linda, because you showed the reality of your creative working space. If it had been magazine perfect, I wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much, because it would have appeared staged. Among all the things you were worried about (tangled wires, a little clutter), the beauty of your art shown through. It was also fun to catch other little glimmers of you-- the bird (sea gull?) on your shelf, the flowers on the table, the gentle way you touched the books you shared. Going to the National Gallery with you (van Gogh!) was just icing on the cake! 💚

Loved looking around your studio with you, yours is a fantastic size with spaces well thought out for different stages of your art, love to see Shiloh sitting comfortably watching you even if he did find it a bit tiring, but we would love to see more videos please, and yes I do love Wildflowers, best wishes to you all

'I love wildflowers' ....& I really enjoy your videos. I'd rather see a real studio than a 'instagram' one any day so thank you for sharing your real life. As a local I love recognising places I know but despite living here for many years I had never discovered Design Vintage in West Stoke until you mentioned it a few videos ago. What a lovely shop and a gorgeous cafe. It is now a favourite place to go.

Little late to this movie but I must say you have a wonderfully inspiring set of windows and the light coming in must help you feel so creative and inspired. Thanks for sharing. I hope your daughter does make a go of her gifts and talents some day and maybe you could share any of it she would be proud to show. It’s spring now, so I’m thankful to see the flowers, wild and otherwise, showing up once again. Today we had tiny purple blue butterflies flittering in the yard. Brings hope. Some day, I hope to have a studio devoted just to sketching and leaving things out so I can have several things going at once. For now, a very dark tiny house is our home so any work I do is also tiny. Thank you for allowing to us to dream though your vlog!

Another wonderful video Linda! I love how you portray your local area. Brilliant close up shots of the paintings in the National Gallery. I do like your studio. It's so very 'real' if that makes sense! Love those waves! Have you used the wires and plugs in the box recently? If not, dare I say, chuck 'em!😮 It's like untangling Christmas lights! Ps. I'm with you on Yorkshire tea v herbal! No contest! PPS. Your studio dog is soooo sweet!

Yes, I love wildflowers, and I love tea without milk! I started drinking it black when I was about 14. My older brother started drinking it black, so I thought if he could do it, so would I. I hated it for a few days, then acquired the taste. A slice of lemon is good. My brother is 83 and I am 80 and we still have tea without milk. Very interesting to see the reality of an artist’s studio!

Thank you for sharing your time. I love going to museums and galleries too. They are rejuvenating. I love your studio space. What wonderful views you have. All that light through the windows! I live in near Eugene, Oregon USA which pretty much has the same climate as you have. I live in the middle of 45 acres of forest and my studio windows look out into them. I agree that Ikea needs to make larger Flat Files (that's what we call them over here). I'm trying to figure out better storage for my very large papers and paper boards. I mainly work with watercolor and soft pastels but am planning on dabbling a little bit with acrylic paint on the cover of a art journal that I recently made. I want to paint a great horned owl that lives here. For your sticky drawers, try rubbing a bar of bath soap or candle on the dresser drawer rails. It may help. I have no helpful suggestions for organizing wires. Thanks again!

@@lindavineart Oregon does love arty things, yes! It’s easy to find like-minded creative souls to hang out with here. Even though I live in the countryside there are four other artists in my area which is wonderful.
