if you would like a really good toned grey or toned tan paper sketchbook I highly recommend the Strathmore toned books. im pretty sure they aren't copic bleed proof but I like how the paper has these fibers embedded in them yet it's smooth. it handles color pencils AMAZINGLY I've also seen people use gauche or light watercolor washes
I love the Strathmore toned sketchbooks! I have the grey and tan ones, I like them quite a bit. Copics do bleed, but that doesn't really bother me that much, I haven't tried gouache or watercolor in them though. I might have to sometime. :)
Painting is a pasión I love to paint wen I found out about something called painting It imidietly became a hobby I tink it is a great way to exprés your felings😃
You make the best videos. I saw a picture of your room on your instagram story and was wondering if you plan on doing a workspace tour? And I'd love to see your pallet, it would be so cool to see all the colors coming together. You're an inspiration to me and it's wonderful you're back!
I would love to see all the videos you're thinking of making, especially the palette video! I'm a total noob when it comes to watercolor, and I'm dying to learn more, such as mixing colors and such! I love your videos so much!
The palette video would be seriously amazing! I love watching palette videos to see how other artists set them up and the colors they decide to use. I'm so jealous you have so many mission paints - I've had my eyes on their gold watercolors for a while and keep make excuses for why I don't need another watercolor set, but I might cave soon...
I'd like to see a video of you filling the palettes, I think it would be an interesting video. I love seeing different palettes. I think the one where you combine the colors to make more in a palette would be cool to see too!
I've been obsessed with watching hauls lately. Yesterday, the art technician made us an art pack from the supplies in the art storage room as she was leaving, and they would most likely never be used. (It is mainly for our year 11 GCSEs). I loved the video! xx
hi, great haul! I would love to know more about Mijello Mission White Class. I use Gold class and love it, and Talens gouache too, it's great to work with.
I have this pallet, the cheap Joe's cavalcade porcelain! I've named mine "Big Moma" it's so easy to clean If you look at the clear lid there's throw places to put two extra pallets made of plastic so you can take and go for plein air painting, I think there called a pick up pallet, they are on the web site I got them...happy painting! Heather
I have the 3 or 4 inch golden fleece flat wash and it is a champ. I am not very nice to my large flats. I also really like cheap Joe's pseudo squirrel brushes. The cat tongue style one is great.
Awesome supply haul! I can only imagine the cool things you'll make with them, especially in such varied mediums! Those brushed look looovely. And I'm excited to see what you make with the Mijello White Class paints - haven't found any -real- reviews or videos showcasing the colours and how they work. I'm trying to get my hands on them soon - but haven't been able to find the large white and black tubes that you showed and that I've seen in the Mijello videos showing the white class set. Would you be able to share where you purchased/found them, if they were sold somewhere online? Thanks, and happy painting! :)
please do the video with you filling up the palette as I would love to learn how to do that. I'm currently using pan paints and I feel that I've always preferred tubes but I'm not sure if I should just get a mixing palette or make a 'desktop' palette with my fav/most used colors.
Hopefully in a few weeks - I'm aiming for early July to open my shop (fingers crossed). I'm doing all the printing myself, so I'm still working to finalize my printer settings and make everything works alright before I open. I will make a video here when it does finally open though! :D
even if you got gifted the stuff and shit like, who cares! ill be honest we all looking at art hauls for 1, find new things to try out, 2 thirst for art supplies we'll never get because we poor, bad at money management, have our own mediums we already like, or blah blah blah dont be self conscious, be unapologetic! 💓💓💓🤚😀💕
shit! I can see myself in this video xD run to an art store the moment I have money... I also use schmincke and Daniel Smith watercolours) they are great!! but have you tried Sennelier? their standard size is 10ml tubes, so I'd say you get much more value for money if you use them instead of Sch./DS)) they are made with honey, so they won't dry longer:) for me it's a big advantage)) Also, what's so good about royal talens gouache? I saw many people use them, but I haven't tried it yet. Is it better than W&N designer gouache set?))
I think with everything you said if you want to make a video for I will watch every single one. Just binged every video you have. And unfortunately haven't posted any new content in October
I'm currently about to paint my own chopsticks lmao but I don't know what paint to use that isn't going to wash off when we clean them. They are made out of bamboo, let me know what you think. love you !
