I grew up with promarkers (before the winston comppany bought them) and they have always been very good. Sadly i switched to copic ciao markers, but if you find promarkers, they're really, REALLY good.
OMG! I love her art, she literally the best. Omg! Tysm for all the likes! I did not know I would get so many likes for just one comment! Happy Belated New Year!♡
I love your videos!!! I never heard of Ohuhu until I watched your vids and I just got them to colour my wednesday drawing (in my yt)!!! I know @MushMoon360 did this already but my brother was telling me "the s ones are the best ones I only want the S ones" even though this is happy charms opinion (which I totally agree with) I did them in order based on tier for my brother and others too:) All S tiers: 2:23 Prismacolour 4:40 Windsor & Newton 6:48 Copic 7:18 Ohuhu (Alcohol markers) 11:12 Ohuhu Liners 14:31 Ohuhu marker pad/sketchbook 15:28 Sketchmarker I'll add the other tiers later :)
Yay Happy Charms, finally you completed your list of markers, I’m so happy for you! Was thinking about getting Arrtx Acrylic Markers as I love to use Posca and wondered what it feels like to use brush tips with acrylic colors, but I’ll stick with Posca and my trustworthy Promarkers! Loved this challenge so much and so great to see the results with the endless efforts you put in!
The colourful liners, that I really love in conjunction with Alkohol Markers, are the chameleon Fineliners. They are colour changing and are water based, so they don't smear with Alkohol Markers. And the colour changing is just unique to them, and you can get really nice effects with it
I actually own 50 of the Artist’s Loft markers and I probably use them everyday, for a beginner artist I love them but they are the only alcohol markers that I’ve had. I love your drawings!
I’ve used WEISBRANDT my since my childhood, they work VERY smoothly and I-Just love at first sight. I mean since my mum could not find COPIC markers in stock I got WEISBRANDT instead. And my reaction wasn’t “Ewww!Mum I don’t like these!” Or “Mum I wanted COPIC!”. I grew up in a greatful household so my reaction was “THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOUUUU! I love it I love!Thank you mum so much!” And personally recommend WEISBRANDT, but I don’t how well COPIC works so it might better. But it’s just MY PERSONAL opinion!
I recommend the illo sketchbook. The paper is so nice and smooth to draw on, and ive never experienced the paper getting ruined or something like that from erasing too much or from water.
Couple of things to consider since you did mention some of these brands were your first time using them. -Prismacolor although nice are not refillable nor are their nibs replaceable. They are super good, but they are a single use marker. -Blick do have both nibs replacements and ink refills. As do Art-N-Fly. Spectrum Noir did but since their update I haven't seen much for their availability-it says they will have them again but that's been quite a while (though could be the online shop I got them from). -Caliart do have a brush nib variation as well! -While yes Copic's are the top tier, their refills have actually gotten bad. Same price as before, but now with a little less than half the ink you use to get them at. -Ohuhu have finally released replacement nibs! And back in Marck of 2022 they were working on refills! If those go through, Ohuhu will be the most affordable refillable markers on the market!
Review Suggestion! I know you really like to use fine liners, so could you try Arteza fine liners? They come in a huge variety of colors, and I personally wanna see how they compare to staedtler. Please☺️
A great German alcohol marker brand is Stylefile! They are even refillable and you can exchange their nibs/tips easily! Definitely similar to Copics in that regard!
Can you try out caliart alcohol markers please? Idk if you already reviewed them but i use them and they are awesome!! (Also random thing but watercolor paper works for alcohol markers)
I don’t know if you have reviewed them yet but, I was wondering if you could review Shuttle Art 280 Set Art Markers? I just bought some but have not used them yet, I wanted to see what you thought of them first! ❤
I am fairly new to drawing on skeet books and I really want to know which markers I should get. I use a pretty standard sketchbook with no special paper or anything! this review was super helpful, but yea it would be nice to know anyways!
I think it might have been artify or something else with a similar name but my friend got a big set of markers that they would fade to a warmer color in a week and leave yellow residue on any other paper they touched
I know she uses Staedtler fine liners for her characters but did/has she mentioned what she used to draw the outline of the pictures she drew to test all these markers on?
I disagree with you putting the Blick markers lower than the Artist Loft markers. Having used both. I find that the Blick markers are a cheaper alternative to Copics in that they are refillable and have almost two hundred markers. They can be found in open box and in sets. With replaceable brush nibs. But, that's my take on them.
Did the artist loft change the way the markers tips are? I rank them at F tier. I bought them when they were first released and the tips got all weird.
I bought some prismacolor markers and they actually were really bad. Some of the markers were already dried out before I bought them, and they show marks when you overlay them. and i also got some of their color pencils, not the best but not to bad, but both of them were 20$ and 40$ together. so, I wasted my money and I'm pretty broke-
OMG IM EARLY WOW! you are one of my fav RU-vidrs! Please heart me comment! It would be a dream 🥰 you don’t have too! But I would be happy if you do! And this was 1 hour ago! omg it feels unreal!
