That's why I love the high honor+go back for the money ending. I didn't view it as going for the money, it was Arthur using his final moments to try to avenge all his friends that died because of those two. Once more into the fray knowing he was gonna die, but he was gonna take them both with him if he could.
@@BallBatteryReligionlow honor go for money is better arthur also shouts that but the fight feels more climatic with the camp on fire being the only light source at night in a knife fight between 2 evil people
When you save John (Any honor), Arthur doesn't care about killing him. He only cares about stopping him from getting to John. When you go back for the money (Any honor), Arthur actually wants to kill Micah.
fighting micah in high honour john ie more of a way to hurt micah while making sure he doesn’t catch up to john. going back for the money is just the more vengeful direct approach
Damn I didn’t realize that I thought he was money hungry when he went back I always questioned it since he was dying anyway . Makes me want to choose go back for the money more now
When and if they ever give us a series on rdr2 (IM LOOKIN AT YOU HENRY CAVILL) for all intensive purposes they Have to give micah a scar from Arthur, it would have so much more impact like you were saying
Yeah but if you play high honor it make no sence for Arthur to go back for the money. If you play low honor then yes. So high honor/ go back for the money can't be canon. The canon ending can only be: low honor go back to the money OR high honor help john.
@@vincent-lm8svyou're not wrong but I liked to view high honor+go back for the money as Arthur deciding that if he's gonna die then he may as well take Micah, Dutch or both down with him. If he manages to get his hands on the money that just would've been a good bonus. Also not for nothing I think low honor+ help John is the most realistic. I don't think Micah would've just walked off. If nothing more than to say he "won" he'd absolutely shoot Arthur just to do it.
@@vincent-lm8sv I still think high honor Arthur is canon really. I'm just saying in high honor Micah leaves Arthur to die somewhat peacefully on the mountain. I don't think he'd do that. I think he'd shoot him. That's just more in line with Micah's character, I think.
@@johnkittz yes, awesome jacket indeed. I play RDR2 a minimum of 1 times a year since launch.. So if i think about it, the amount of time spent in there is pretty much worth like 30 bucks in sale if ud ask me..
@@rickvonwick4637 no joke. I played 150 hours on my Xbox One first play through. Regular edition. Got a PS5 and rebought the game on sale but this time I got the ultimate edition. I already got 360 hours into it and i just got Micah out of jail.
Bro thinks Micah is a fodder, Bro Micah is a fucking menace and even sharper shooter then arther, John is not even close to Micah in terms of shooting (except of the later life John) and deadeye is just a fictional skill it wasn't actually a thing all that matter is the skills which Micah have both are extremely dangerous

It is you just have to go back for the money with high honor i wish if you helped john with high honor you would do somthing that leves a mark on micah
Nothing to do with the short butnI love how in the Fenton mission the people at the were genuinely nice to him even if it was just for the free drinks it was kind of wholesome
Go back for the money with high honour is such a cool ass ending I can't lie, the idea of Arthur being on the verge of death only fueled by rage- The money more of a excuse to go back and finish what he started
I did go back for the money in my last playthrough, and i'll tell you now, you cant kill Micah, but oh sweet god does it feel good to hurt him. To make him BLEED.
Even after Arthur died 🥀 He still left something on Micah like an meaning that he will come back with revenge some way or another and the scar is like reminding Micah that every day
It can't be canon because it make no sence for his character if you have high honor to do that. The canon ending can only be low honor go back to the money, or high honor help john.
@@vincent-lm8svmate it’s whatever the player chooses to do you can’t tell him he can’t do that because that game literally gives you the option to have high honor and still go back for the money
@@vincent-lm8sv why not? The outcome is the same regardless, John gets away with his family?? Only difference is you get to cut Micah’s eye out 😎 & he doesn’t win by just beating Arthur to near death like high honor+help John..
Micah could hardly fight off a dying man, John fought off a pack of wolves on the peak of mount fkn Everest 💀 and before he had the ability to respawn 😳
He would have split Micah in half with his bare hands. Roughly a 80kg 6ft Male in his late 30's that got in a lot of fist fights in his life and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty, he was basically Dutch's errand boy, and if you take in consideration you can make Arthur heavier with food, you can basically turn him into a Super heavyweight fighter. There is absolutely 0 chance in Hell Micah could beat a healthy Arthur in a fight.
@@gorilliamHes tall, well not like tyson fury but like 6" / 6'1 at least. I remember the old civil war veteran talking to John in Rhodes and he describes him as a tall fella
@joedwyer3297 I just watched a video showing all the heights of Arthur and the gang and they're all between 6"0/ 6"1, and the woman around 5"9. If you take out the 2/3 inches from their heeled footwear then it makes them about 5"10/5"11
If Arthur didn't have TB Micah wouldn't have gotten into Dutch's partnership if Arthur didn't have TB Dutch would have asked Arthur what he thought and wouldn't have left him Micah was Arthur's replacement in the eyes of Dutch and in chapter 1 Dutch did say to Arthur to do what he wants with Cornwalls men on the train either kill them or let them go so we can say that Arthur was brutal in the past
I like to believe that if you finish the game with low honour when Micah looks around before dying he sees Arthur waiting to escort him to hell and that's why he turned back before dropping
He knew what he was up against, of course he's gonna make sure it was never fair fight on either side, he said himself "its about dyin and livin, and i aint dyin"
@@M_D_T_999 Arthur in his younger days would've roped Micah to a post and had target practice, he became civilized as he got older but there's a Reason he gained a reputation as "The Enforcer" of the Van Der Linde gang
I love that John wouldn't have known Arthur did that until this very moment. Imagine finding out almost a decade later that your best friend and brother spent his final moments giving your #1 enemy a scar for life
2 endings, each of them has different outcomes , depending on your honor. The choice "go to money" has 2 different endings. With High honor - Arthur cuts Micah's eye. With Low honor - Micah stabs Arthur with knife multiple times.
Arthur is probably the best protagonist and his moves is literally giving me chills when I first saw him and I always wondered🤔🤔🤔 that why would dutch abandoned the gang
One thing I will always regret about is pushing Arthur in final fight at low honor 😔. I never thought it would end like that. Arthur never deserved that end, but one thing that satisfies me is I chose helping John rather than going to money😟.
Arthur left the biggest scar on Micah. Having helped other people that actually were important like Jon Jack Abigail. Maybe Micah killed Arthur in some endings but Arthur actually won, becouse in the end only matters what you did with good heart.
I'm playing RDR2 story again, I guess I have finished it more than 5 times already. Legendary game, each time I play it, I notice a dialogue or a mission I haven't seen before.
