This is arguably the greatest audition in American Idol History. Guy could sell out stadiums globally. He has lots of views on RU-vid in different languages. Where are the great managers that can get this incredible talent out to the world even more.

this show was never about catapulting world famous stars, it's about exploiting exceptional talent by ordinary people and disposing them when the next shiny objects comes around.
I’ve watched probably a thousand American idol auditions. This one, by far, is the best one I have ever seen and it’s not even close. It’s 2023 and no matter how many auditions I watch I always come back to this one. Unreal. This dude was robbed of not winning it all

English is more like third language for them. They have Nepal official language then their cultural language based on who they are, then english. Also most educated plp in Nepal have good tone while speaking English as far as i can tell.
Prithu S Kumar I know about Nepal. Nepalese Study 📖 English in School n Clz but they Barely speak. They have their own Mother tongues. Every Nepali can understand Hindi but Not English. But Nepalese have good tone. I did research Brother.

Man I did too! My mouth was literally agape when he started singing. One of the best auditions I’ve seen on AI. He mentioned he liked bluegrass, I would love to hear that great voice with a banjo.

I haven't watched American Idol since the first season. Arthur Gunn makes me want to watch this season. Loved the first song. The 2nd was pure magic. You could see he felt it in his soul. Wow.
Katy should just let him do his own thing. All she’s focused is on the coaching about stage presence which was burned into her brain and not focused on his talent. God this guy is so damn good and they tried to turn him into Hollywood in 5 minutes Jesus christ.

American Idol 2020 was barely starting when sudently, a guy from beutiful Nepal played the guitar, opened his mouth and started singing. That's When the season should have ended!!!. Just crown the guy and lets start a new season!.
Absolutely amazing. That audition right there alone will open so many doors for him. If he doesn't win American Idol, which he should, this guy will be on the radio for years to come selling out concerts across the globe. And he is from Wichita where I live and I had no idea or heard of him. He represents Nepal and Wichita well!! Super happy for him.
It's really too bad this guy was on the completely wrong season....how would he have done on a real season, not the joke that was the back half of his season? That business from the next season didn't do him any favors either.
He will become one of the most successful contestants after the show is over. I will buy his first album the day it is released. I know he can sing Dylan; Creedence; Springsteen; Bob Seger; Neil Young; Cocker and of course we would love to hear him sing those songs. However, please let him sing his versions of Adele; Sia; Fleetwood Mac; Pearl Jam; Nirvana; Cat Stevens; Rodriguez; Johnny Cash; Coldplay; U2; Bon Iver; Queen; The Beatles.....
