I cannot simply explain the perfection of this music piece since it is so ahead of its time, i cannot fathom 0:07 the deep raspy voice of Arthur Morgan really tells you the horror he has been through in blackwater and other areas of the west. Even at 0:24 the way he says Lemoyne really shows the time period this song was manifested in and before that when he says and i quote " I want to rob a train like i am in Lemoyne" really impacts the viewer by expressing the fact that the person that has sung these outstanding songs is not innocent in anyway but instead a outlaw through and through. After that line i heard a " YAH " from Arthur Morgan and my heart felt like it had been hit by a train that Arthur robbed it was so touching. After that heartfelt moment i heard him say " Rob it, Grab it, Shoot it Dutchy i'm with you " the shock and happiness that brought me was unlike no other because of the sheer enjoyment it had brought me the idea that through all the chaos Arthur Morgan is still loyal to Dutch no matter what stands in his way. The way he delivered " Won't be like john he ran away from you. " was deeply cutting since this reminds us that john had once left the Van Der Lind Gang and was actually considering leaving Dutch and Arthur even though they loved him like family.... Also the line " And after Micah's Ratted to the law betraying you. " Really left a deep mark on me emotionally since this line combined with the last shows the faster downfall of the gang and the member that are inside of its walls..... The utter way Arthur Morgan says " Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah. " Is nice and refreshing after the last comments about the gangs health and you can even hear it slightly in Arthur Morgan's voice when he says the first " Woah " shows the relaxation after the last amazing lines. And when he says " I shoot his face, Show him i'm with Dutch.... " Is brutal yet comforting to hear Arthur Morgan will kill for his gang and friends. After that there is another amazing series of "Woah"s he says " I love you Dutch but please fix those plans " makes the viewer in question feel happy for the development of the bond between the two outlaws. Then the real orgasmic beat drop begins hitting you like a 18 wheeler going 200 down a highway once the beat dropped and i heard the first lines i came, shit, pissed and vomited all at the same time mind you. The way Arthur says " Van Der Linde " is perfect and really sets a old timey mood for the rest of the song. And when Arthur says " Poker Plans " my balls wiggled up back into my body as well as my cock. When Dutch states that he and i quote " I have a plan Arthur. " i felt a deep since of anger towards Dutch for saying that and not delivering but also nostalgia at the same time. While the rest of the song play out i think to myself and ask what happened in blackwater for him to pursue this road of violence and terror shootouts? Though i have never figured it out and i may never in the history of man itself but after this emotional rollercoaster i can state proudly that this song is a top 3 in my book and it places number one and it might never be beat. Even through all of those feelings i still want more great songs by this highly underrated artist.
This song changed my life. I was moments away from committing suicide when my phone went off. I looked at it, and it was my friend sending me this video. Arthur has always been my hero, and when I heard him singing my favorite song this beautifully, I couldn't help but cry tears of joy. Since then, I got married to my wife of 6 years and had 3 beautiful kids.
