Theres a stranger interaction with a blind man you can help him later on while you meet him he says stuff like "I sense bad energy from you get away! Loyalty will blind you and will become a burden"
Yes, it's wonderfully animated. His eyes are slightly glazed as though he's holding back tears, the way they dart around a little more than usual. I've never seen an animated face convey more emotion than in that moment.
Me to afraid i have tb. Nobody care me. Well i just trying to move on lets see how my ends come. But i not break anyone heart i trying always even i have depression
@@yaro42 Well I did play the first RDR but at first I was okay with arthur, but when I had reached the point In which you start to play as john, I didnt want to do so anymore. I miss arthur
@Don Dann So what? That means we can't be inspired by them and cry and laugh with them? Just because a character isn't real doesn't mean we always have to act like they're not real. It's the same thing with movie and book characters. For example, Tony Stark was a fictional character, but plenty of people, myself included, cried when he died. In conclusion, kindly fuck off.
Remember when days was good? Lenny and Arthur partying in the bar, Micah in jail, horses were frolicking and not dying, pinkertons were nowhere to be seen, there was a severe lack of tuberculosis, and Karen was sober. Sean was alive. Hosea and Arthur went bear hunting. Mary Beth and Arthur danced. It was good.
Arthur: "That's all I am, a fighter, a killer .. A crazy man." Reverend Swanson: "So be it, you lived your way, you'll die your way." One of the most iconic lines of dialect in this experience of Red Dead Redemption 2
Abigail: you'd risk all this? For what? For Micah? John: all this? All this wouldn't exist if It weren't for Arthur... Man, this really touches me deeply
this is what i repeat myself everyday, i am a ghost in society. Even my friends don't want anything to do with me. Just because i see the truth in stuff
It's not just a game. It's a masterpiece, it's an example of how a "bad man" is the best in the world, and a "good man" is the worst traitor that can exist. Rest in peace Arthur Morgan❤️.
@@shahidkarimm oh, the original comment was saying that Arthur was technically a "Bad man" in the eyes of society/the law, because hes protecting a gang of criminals, even though he is morally much better than the "Good guy" Micah who was ratting the criminals out, while indeed being the one with the worst morals in the entire game. Arthur was a good man, truly.
Timmah also considering all the characters we could play (most likely those that don’t get out of blackwater) we are probably gunna cry as much as we did for arthur
@@ilhandaanish2381 that much is obvious, however the real question is, is it gonna be as good as RDR2 or was RDR2 just so good it is impossible to make another one this good without making a copy of RDR2 which in the end would still be bad... Yep lets just hope that Rockstar doesnt end up at the same path as almost every other game developer ever in existance and that they actualy make another exellent game and realize that making huge proffits in game industry is not by micro transactions or expensive dlc's but instead making a game that people will never forget and will be considered an EPIC and will propably be repressenting video games in museums in far future.
Unbelievable. I did the exact same thing. I only bought a PS4 just to play it. What an amazing experience. I haven't stop playing and I can't get enough of it
Dude he ran in a gang spilt blood robbed looted corps and shot people and killed a lot of people don't get ur emotions mixed he was a bad man sure he tried to redeem himself but he's still a bad man man u Arthur fans sure are something huh
@@DeadXog you must be the school nerd that no one likes you. You know if someone truly regret something he will go to heaven right?? Thats what god sayed Edit : because i want you to feel like you accomplished something I'll press a like to your comment
At the end when Dutch says “who’s with me and who’s betraying me?” He was so blinded that he didn’t realize that he was the one betraying Arthur and John
@@samgardner4667 yes he was. According to the actor playing Dutch's role. 😉 He said he really wanted to do the good choices.but hosea died, and Dutch "lost his mind", didn't know who he could trust or not.....and Micah saw an opportunity. In the end of the game, Dutch kills him cause he saw what Micah really was. 😉😊
Here's a funny fact. Roger Clark, the performance capture and voice actor of Arthur, did the performance capture (skin tight suit with pingpong balls) for Mary Gillis when she was crying at Arthur's grave, because she wasn't in studio that day. Arthur shed tears at his own grave
Hearing Arthur say "I'm afraid" is still one of the strongest moments i experienced in this game. Seeing someone so strong become so vulnerable just absolutely destroyed my heart. I've always seen alot of myself in Arthur and I will never forget the lessons he taught me in becoming a better man. This is why I love video games. Arthur along with many other characters are more than just characters at this point... they are some of the fondest memories I have, and in some sense, my family. Corny, but when it's done right like this... its hard not to feel a connection. Thank you Rockstar and thank you Arthur. "I don't talk about him much, But I think about him."
This game tells such a beautiful story. I was able to learn a lot about how to live and give back, I was in a very bad motorcycle accident when I was 21 shattered pelvis, split tailbone, 3 cracked vertebrae, punctured blatter, my right leg was dislocated and my left foot was 3 days away from amputation. I was in the hospital for 27 days and went through multiple surgeries. I thought my life was over I was engaged at the time but I was ready to die i couldn’t see a life after that. But I played a lot of video games to pass time and I learned from this game that you don’t need your physical strength to give back to the world, I’m 23 and I’m married to an amazing woman who helped me more than I can ever give back and I’m still living in constant pain but I’ve had the best couple years just showing people how beautiful life is and how you can give so much back even when you’re broken and in pain. I’m always looking to help people and there’s no shame in living just for that reason. If anyone takes time to go through this just know you don’t have to be all macho and quiet about your struggles. sharing your story and listening to others can really help you make sense of this world.
I read your story, you touched my heart so much, you are an inspiration and and honorable man a real life Arthur Morgan, God Bless you, be well always ♥
when he says he’s afraid... it’s the way he says it and his facial expression that just makes me sad, you can see he’s afraid and it just makes me sad.
@@WanderingLoner1 you never had that thought that everything you do on the interwebs is being watched by a FBI man? Even if you havent its kind of a joke.
@@jesus4lyfe00 arthur in comparison to every other character was infact the purest... .. i said "he was purest man" .. which when put into a comparative context should make it obvious
He was a bad man in a way, he did bad things to lots of people but he tried to do better. That’s what matters. I’ve known people who claimed they were bad people but you can tell there was good in them. There’s so much weight on their shoulders and demons that they fight they they think they can’t change who they are. Some accept it and continue to do bad but others do something about it and try to change. Those who have the will to overcome their darkest demons is admirable
I just finished the story and for me, its the best game i have ever played hands down. Im 45 and i have played quite alot of story-driven games through the years. The only game that has got me this attached emotionally would be The last of us (the first game when Joels daughter dies hit me very hard too) But Im just blown away of how good this game was, story, characters, scenery, sound etc. This is a masterpiece in my opinion and thats one reason im not surprised that games now makes more money than the movie-industry. Sorry for rambling, Cheers and stay safe everyone!
The final talk between Arthur and John really tears me apart because you can tell John knows it will be the last time he will see Arthur, last time he will see his brother...
"Im afraid" gets me everytime because really after taking a good look at myself and life I never understood how afraid of death and being old and alone I really was
RDR changed us on so many levels. From our understanding of loyalty to the bitterness of betrayal all leading up to the final moment in life. We learned trust. Respect. Heartbreak. Sadness. And love. I ain't saying Arthur wasn't a bad man. But he tried to be good. And just like john says " no telling what he really was in the end "
“I’m sorry, ma’am...” “I know I ruined your life, I suffer for it everyday...” The pain in his voice, the look in his eyes, the expression that he has when he says those things.. He truly wanted to be a decent human. Fuck, man, I had tears in my eyes when I saw those two scenes and it just made me think of how much pain Arthur has gone through in his life.
This game, it was not a simple game that I would play whenever and however I wanted, it was a special moment, and the moment when Arthur was riding his horse for the last time, man.. I finished this game over a year now, but I still cry sometimes when I remember this character, this man, Arthur Morgan wasn't just a character, he was a real person to me, and when he died, a part of me also died with him.. You are a legend Arthur. Rest in peace Arthur Morgan.
Valcirp1 everything said there I agree with. The more I was playing the more I was feeling the weight of everything in it. At times my Girlfriend was slightly worried for me (bless her) but I just said that I want the best for Arthur cause I related to him so much. I related to him cause he perhaps the last of a dying breed and sometimes I feel that myself. One of the best characters ever created period whether it be Film, TV or Game.
@@iainhamilton213 Yeah right, I'm glad I am not the only one who felt this. Probably the reason of why we felt this is because we can relate Arthur to someone. In my case I relate him a lot to my dad, he looks exactly like Arthur and acts like him.
Hi Abbie332 ...... I was commenting on this page, when I came across yours and all what you just said in your comment is great and amazing sunshine I will like us to be friends, This is my Gmail...... mch78789@gmail.com you can text me okay.! Sorry for comment on Public stuff.
I'm replaying it and I kept the first horse Arhur got and I'm planning on having that horse to the very end to when Arthur says "thank you" it'll actually mean something to me because players don't always keep the same horse from the beginning.
This is the most beautiful tribute to a man who did bad things but through repentance, loyalty, honor, sacrifice and love found redemption in the end. RIP Arthur.thanks for sharing this awesome video ❤❤❤❤
This game has a better script and story than most movies. This game is a life lesson for all of us. Arthur Morgan starts off as a more heartless and cold man who didn’t care about the people he killed, but you could always tell he still hard a good heart. As the game progresses and Arthur becomes sick, he becomes more considerate and developes a better moral conscience. By the end of the game Arthur is a changed man who is trying to help his friends in their life rather than his one as he doesn’t have much time left. His death is the saddest I’ve ever seen in a movie or game. After all he has been through and helping others, he doesn’t deserve what happened to him. Thank you Rockstar.
Pinkertons were doing their job. Even Milton gave many chances for the gang, to run away and live a normal life by handing over Dutch. Gang’s loyalty for Dutch was their downfall. Dutch was like a mad fire and Micah was the fuel. They both destroyed the gang. Arthur died being loyal. So Pinkertons were just doing their job. Milton too. But on the other hand Ross was a piece of shit.
Red Dead Redemption is a godamn experience, not just a game, and Arthur is not just a character, he is what a real human would be in those times, he really feels, feeling fear like he does its just what a human feels, Arthur is my favorite character of the videogames
A good man is one who does good things. Arthur Morgan was a killer who got weary of seeing his family and friends die over and over. He was no good man but he had a good heart and cared for the ones he loved. He sacrificed himself so everybody else could live the life he couldn't live. His death completed the story, there's no greater thing to die for than freedom for your beloved ones.
For a game to be impactful narrativity as most films and story focused games is phenomenal due to the fact it's also got the best open world environment. There's something so beautiful about camping in the wild like a Survival roleplay Experience for hours on end, and to realize 4 Hours later; Oh yeah this has a campaign, and tons of other stuff to feel the time. It's a gift to be honest, by far the best and most underrated game to hit this generation.
That's the most perfect game I've ever seen. I've never cried so hard playing a game like I cried in RDR2. Thank you, Rockstar. Thank you, Arthur Morgan
The last moments where you chose to help John escape I knew that was it. I knew Author was going to die. I was silently screaming come at me mother fuckers. I honestly thought he was going to die at that moment buying John time to get away. Only for Micah to fuck that up.
Arthur Morgan rip bro, I’ll cya in the other side, lmao for some reason I think in heaven in a coincidence I think somebody will be named Arthur Morgan and everybody will swarm around them 😂
Arthur: We ain't both gonna make it Go now I'll hold them off It would mean a lot to me please John: Arthur Arthur: Go to your family John: Arthur Arthur: Get the hell out of here and be a godamn man I was crying during that whole scene
This is the beauty in Red Deads 2 message. Not to be okay with the bad things you've done in your life, and not to seek out absolution or a way to fix those bad things. But to live with it, and die with it. And change. Be the person you want to be with the time you have left. Seek good and do good. All bad acts can be forgiven, if that person seeks out to do good for the rest of their life. But forgiveness cannot be granted, but earned
Arthur goes through the extreme struggle to survive in this world as a man. In a world where men are treated as inhumanly as possible just because they are stronger. To this day there are a lot of good men who are labeled monsters. Because this media have degraded men. Arthur is what a man should be.
Awesome tribute / edit! This game does the best job of exploring humanity, the human condition & raw truths. It's a piece of art. I absolutely love how much care the writers, developers, and designers put into making it.
It was the gamers choice if Arthur was loyal or not. The whole game through I loved Arthur. I never had such a bond, With a protagonist. It was like Arthur was my best friend and someone I couldn't live without. It made me learn how to change and how to become a good person.
Iain Hamilton He basically taught us that no matter how horrible life gets, always look at the bright side. He taught me that no matter how bad of a person i feel like i am, i can be better. it’s been over a year since i’ve finished the game, and i couldnt express to you how many times i’ve cried after replaying the game again.
After Arthur died :( I figured John was gunna get revenge on Micah soon so was waiting for that time...and when that time came I went up the hills waited til that cut scene was over and shot every bullet into Micahs balls
this game taught me so many life lessons, and once a month i always come here to honor the closest thing ive ever had to a father. So what if its just a video game, games can teach us great lessons and we can hold a game character close to our heart,. i will never forget Lenny, josea, sean and most importantly my farher figure Arthur, enjoy ur sunset uve earned it
Don Dann Man shut up people are free to think whatever they want and this game was a masterpiece. Just because you don’t like the way some people think doesn’t mean that you have to be a complete asshole to them keep it to yourself. But I can see that you are a coward who hides behind a screen and you think that gives you the freedom to insult whoever you want. And just try to be more understanding in the future ok?
Arthur tried his hardest to be good in the end. He cared and died they way he wanted to. Facing west and watching the sunrise, thinking about all the good times he had.
