The exact way I'm feeling too. It was so good at the beginning, if I play it now I just see a dead man walking who will be betrayed by the same man he would have gone to hell and back for. And that was all about loyalty, I see.
I've always had my best friend's back he's got a family like John's only he's got a daughter. I've been loyal and determined to always help them and be there for them.
I've gladly had my family, especially my mother through the years to actually enjoy watching me play for the amazement games offer. The voice acting and graphics. She is really in awe most the time. And it just puts a smile on my face.
Arthur reminds me of my dad strong determined brave and very smart but my dad ended up with liver cancer and he fought it for 10 years and he still worked even though he was basically dying but he was doing it so we could have money to keep paying our rent and in this time he saved my mum from being bashed by some bikers and he saved her and i always looked up to him and he passed away in 2017 and his fight came to an end but he didnt die invane and when i bought rdr2 and got to now arthur then when he died i full on had a mental breakdown and couldn't sleep for days because it was like watching my dad pass away again and i dont talk about this alot but this community is great and i love it and that is why i chose to share my story with all you amazing people thank u From jack R
@@bluegiant102 i dunno what to say but your right my dad will always show that he lovez me and will get to me through things in the times a head thank you
I LOVE THE LAST OF US and im siked about this sequal. I can only imagine what Naughty Dog will have in store. But come on dude can you really say that this story to hit you like a bag of bricks more than the last of us??? And ill repeat I LOVED LOVED LOVED The Last of Us, but the feeling for the characters and there relationships with each other as POWERFUL as they were...was not as powerful as Arthur Morgans new found respect for his life and the people in it, including John Marston and the families of his victims. And the moral dilemma you face as Joel at the end of the game was SPECTACULAR....but was it more gut wrenching than Arthur Morgan inching closer to drawing his last breathe....I don't think so. Now of coarse this just my own opinion but im not knocking the last of us in anyway...im just PRAISING Red Dead Redemption 2.
I played the last of us for the first time recently and it was very emotional. Rdr2 however made my eyes water and I almost cried at Arthur’s confession and the TB ending (the one I got). I wish I could forget about rdr2 and play it all over again. The fact that everyone’s Arthur is different and that we all made different choices and had our own adventures is what makes Arthur truly unique as a protagonist. Tlou2 will definitely be an amazing game but I haven’t been the same since I finished rdr2.
This is the game of the decade period. Every character has a story, Arthur and the gang feel so human and relatable. When Arthur does it feels so real, everything just feels all right with this game.
This video deserves a lot more views. You did an excellent job on it. I really do believe Arthur Morgan to be the best protagonist Rockstar ever created. And I remember giving him such grief before release.
I dont know why, but that scene with Arthur saying "im afraid" and sister saying "theirs nothing to be afraid of" being followed up with the scene with him saying "we ain't both gonna make it" really hit different
To be honest rockstar needs to link up with Steven Spielberg and make a movie about rdr 1-2 this storyline is the best I ever seen. It really hit home on a lot of levels. GREAT JOB ROCKSTAR
Arthur... You're appared in my life like à brother... I can't explain what i'm feeling but... When i close my eyes and i imagine.. You're looks like so real... Thanks for this message. Every one in this world can take the way of light. It's never to late to EXIST. That' s the way it is... Miss you bro... RIP. Sorry for my english.
One of the reasons Arthur Morgan resonates so much with people is because he shows everyone that no matter what happens in life it's never too late to do the right thing
Arthur died on top of a mountain. Watching the sunset. Having known he did all he could to save those he cared about. Dutch died at the bottom of a mountain, by taking the only way out a disgraced man like him could take. It's poetic.
For me RDR 2 wasn't a game, it was a story, it was such a touching thing in my heart that it feels like it was in real life, I can't explain it, I just know this is the best game in the world.
He’s a fictional character. Yet he’s the realist man I’ve every played in any video game. He’s like a father figure who is showing me his world every time I put Red on. I completed the game around 3-4am some time ago and I never felt so empty from a completing a game before. Taken me a while to complete the epilogue. After sleeping that day, I was honoured to have played Arthur Morgan’s story. It’s all inspiring and unforgettable.
Arthur morgan will remain in my heart forever...... I hve played 80+ games in my life but rdr2 is no 1 for me just bcz of his heart touching story.... love u morgan
Arthur Morgan is the best game protagonist ever. He makes a bond with the gamers that bond no other game protagonist can create. Though everything is legendary in RDR2 but specially this character makes RDR2 beyond gaming.
My favorite aspect of his last moments is that when he is seeing people for the last time, Abigail and John, he leaves without being dramatic and goes onward toward his fate. Quiet bravery.
Everytime I ride Arthur into camp for the last time and That's the way it is starts playing I cry an ocean of tears....Arthur Morgan the best video game character ever
The most memorable character in any video game I've ever played I cant believe this game is already 2 years old. I never had the joy of playing the first game but after this one I watched a whole gameplay video of the first and it's an incredible story altogether. John marston is made to seem so petty and weak in this game but in reality he was built tough. It's sad he wasnt as much a man of feeling as Arthur was though. I got 100% honor on my first playthrough and it was an incredible ending, I started off playing as an asshole but after i got through chapter 3 I started to change my playthrough. Usually the hero lives long enough to become the villain. In Arthur's case if you play the game right the villain becomes the hero and what a hell of a hero he was. This was the first time I actually shed a tear for anything in a long time. The amount of feeling in this game was incredible it is a must play for anyone.
Currently sitting by Arthur’s grave smoking a joint having a beer wiles playing the way it is a day after experiencing his death for the first time. RIP Arthur Morgan you were a good man ❤️ 🌅
When I first got this game, I though I was only going to play Online mode. But then I decided to try the story out, and I got hooked. I don’t regret a single second of it.
This game has a special place in my heart, Aurthur proves you can change and become the man you need to be, he broke every commandent of peace, and took his entire life amd sacrificed it for his best friend so he can live and change.. Aurthur is the most powerful video game character ive met, he reminds me of a true outlaw story.. ive beat this game 9-10 times and about to play again, what a beautiful amazing written game, so hard to believe this wasnt a true story. Rest in peace Aurthur Morgan if you were real.❤️
Arthur Morgan is the greatest person to ever exist even tho he was just a video game character I’ve learned alot from this man ever since he died I’ve became a different person RD2 will forever be the greatest game in the world I was so attached to him like he was my brother he didn’t deserve to go he was good and he tired
In many ways we all have a little Arthur Morgan in us people don’t seem to get that just because it’s scripted doesn’t mean that it can’t mean something. beautiful tribute
Many people see games as a way to pass time, and many games are just that, but Red Dead Redemption 2 is an experience, a story, a window to peep into the life of a great man, no matter an imaginary one. Games like Red Dead Redemption 2 make a person reflect on their life's past and make them see what a life could be lead down the wrong path, trying to come back to the right one. Arthur Morgan will go down in my sight, and in the sight of many other true gamers, as a legend, in the same lines of Ezio Auditore, John Marston, and of course Altair, and many more loved by the gaming community. Be sure to reply with your favourite character except these.
@@nadja9055 yeah Micah was a rat from the start , the reason he turn more aggressive is from the trolly crash he hit his head so that is wy he's so aggressive .
Arthur Morgan is the Greatest Protagonist of All Time. He was a rough neck raised by Dutch and Hoesea since he was 16, He didn't like most people he came across but the ones he did like(Including anyone in the gang) he would walk through hell fire and back for them.. He was a good man fighting his own demons while trying to help and please everyone else at the same time.. The Gang was his only family, Dutch was like his Uncle and Hoesea was like his Father. If either one of them told Arthur to jump, He would jump. His loyalty was unquestionable.. Arthur Morgan was all that is Man and no one will ever come close to him. I can go on and on about Arthur Morgan and how amazing this experience truly was.. The tiny details in this game are absolutely insane and the story itself with character development goes DEEP. VERY DEEP.
This is the only game iv ever cried over, I’m 18 and I cried 4 times over 4 different scenes, when Arthur tells sister he is going to die, the last ride through the woods, Arthur’s death and when John is building his house, i don’t know why that hit me maybe it was the fact that I wish Arthur was there to see it and the song was so fitting
