There were several reasons for that incident such as infact the growing polarization of the kashmiri pandits and Kashmiri muslims against which the then chief minister Farooq Abdullah warned the center if not taken the issue into consideration.lack of concern from center in controlling the then illetrate masses from such polarization led to that unfortunate event, Jagmohan conspiracy is the another reason, growing tentions between ikhwaan, military and militants the another. He is wrong. Article 370 didn't come out of instrument of accession. It came out of subsequent negotiation which were favoured by Nehru towards Kashmiris. Instrument of accession was common to all states -- including Kashmir.
