This one was pretty fun to watch. The game where you went Skrelv, into Thopteryx, Unctus was cool. You got to do “the thing” and it made me happy to see.

Awesome deck CGB. Although I’ll be trading out Disruption Protocol for Make disappear. Protocol is too hard to cast when needed for 2 blue and I never have an artifact open.

Training Grounds is legal in standard since Aftermath, and i feel like that's a really powerful effect that might be breakable in some way, especially combined with tezzeret and some of the artifact synergies like surge engine, urza, prince of kroog, maybe a platoon dispenser or thran spider?. Other cool effects i've found are channel abilities like mirrorshell crab, otawara and the transform creatures from MOM. I think a lot cards become really pushed when you reduce a bunch of the mana costs, and i feel like there might be a shell that is low-key broken. Perhaps you could find a way to break it, seeing as you're a much better player and deckbuilder than myself.

Surge engine is one of the few actually good cards in the deck. Patchwork is also good but don't get rid of surge engine for it.

Great deck, so so so so tired of standard meta, so this is cool. Havent played standard in weeks. Wizards, your decision to hold the rotation was AWFUL.

I slowly payed the grind through diamond into masters last week using a collection of off meta decks, Simic ramp, grixis spells w/ arcane bombardment, golgari self Mill, mardu anvil, and one or two others. Just brew and go play the games. So many ideas are competitive, especially if you know the boring meta as well as you claim. Be the change you want to see.
