Skylord is literally the only artifact that I have yet to obtain! Lost my favorite tame (kaprosuchus) while in the lava cave but I was able to get out with the Massive artifact 😭
OH MY GOD ME TOO! I lost my favorite tame Blue because I never expected Lava lakes and a bridge 😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 every tutorial video I watch of this game literally skips the dirty details like when I did my first obelisk run i went in there expecting the worst of troodons and trikes and everything in between… why did I die from a wall crushing me?! How come no one ever covered that?! Lmao I didn’t even make it to a godamn room and literally just gave up and put my phone down. Lmao.
Also, don’t speed run it cuz sometimes your game crashes while you’re in the cave and when that happens every single Dino will respawn and … it’s never fun lmfao
I just did cave of the skylord for the first time and it took me a while to get to the artifact plus it is very very recommended to play on hard or brutal difficulty because difficulties have no differences except for you gain levels slowly and higher level creatures if you go into a cave in easy difficulty high level(150+ or 30+ level) creatures in the cave will spawn and can absolutely destroy you and your tamed
i got so scared when this said my level is kinda bad for this but i did not even fight anything, when i was trying to not fall in a pit leaving the cave i heard my ptero is getting hit I STARTED RUNNING LIKE PERFECTLY TO OUTSIDE LMAO and it was alpha wolf what fell in a water when i got on my ptero. Thank you for showing me how to do it
Today I went to do the cave but at the first try I fell on my ass in the wrong place, I lost all my armor, then, I went back to base, I made another armor and it worked, I am very happy I did it, good video
Just tried this and it worked 100%… holy what a smart way. Just make grappling hooks and kill a few monsters and you are done! Can’t believe this is easier than lava and south cave that I speed run on foot through with ease..
at first, I was afraid of the cave even when i had flak, but then i saw its just go right and kill 2 spiders and now im trying to move my tames to snow and do 100 times a week that cave (i love the cave now)

Easiest to get any artifact get foundation and bed if server has cave building on build near artifa t container if server also has casual you can fast travel to cave and die and respawn with artifact with you
Welp all my medbrew, antidote and got like a fur and flak set switch sets when I need to fight was over preparation, you made the cave way easier for me, thank you mate 😅
I’m not 100% sure you have to use a second grapple but for me I just don’t want to risk falling. I believe if your movement speed is high enough you can clear the gap
This is the cave that ended my 200 hour playthrough where i had level 200+ rex, spino, theri, a pack of 3 high level allos (one of them bred), 2 wolves, sabertooth, anky, argy, the stupid grinder that i thought gavr XP, ascendant tools and armour from the 2021 halloween, and 73 levels.
Tried 3 times before watching this video and died, then followed your method, obtained the artifact but got stuck with the hook on the crystals next to the note, fell and died, but I kept the artifact 😊
I’m not actually sure 😅 I believe there is but I haven’t fully explored the cave myself. I just go in, get the artefact using the method in this video and then get out
