Absolute legend my dude! I have been trying to get this artifact for over a year and almost given up entirely and watched this (because of the notes video)
Can confirm it works as of 23/10/2021. Non-dedicated server with one other friend, waited for 20 minutes and it appeared. We didn’t bother clearing out every creature either so that’s not strictly necessary if you want to save your armour. Thank you so much!
According to the wiki, the artefact should now properly spawn in since September 2022. I'm actually gearing up to do my first run at this artefact which was how I came across your vid series. Good and informative and above all, not too long which is a relief! However, there is an explorer note of sorts in the cave- one of the Genesis 2 Chronicles which you need to use HLNA in your offhand slot to scan it..
Hey, glad you found it helpful! About the note, i dont have the genesis dlcs so i cant get the HLNA notes on any of the maps, so i didnt know at the time when i made this video that a note was in here:/
My strat for this cave is I take a max level Bary in via a cryopod and drop it in the main corridor and then head right and shoot a bat then I run back behind the bary and set it to nuetral. Rinse and repeat.
Found this Vid from a Complete Games YT Comment recommending it. The video is over a year ago but the comment is 2 months old and still useful. Shame they never patched this.
I bet that the artifact only respawns while the cave is loaded. So maybe, when the game is created none of the artifacts exist, some of them are coded to spawn as they should while this one requires that the cave be loaded for it to do so. Maybe on servers the cave is loaded more often or it is loaded at all times so the issue becomes invisible. Thus waiting for it to spawn with the cave loaded is the solution. Screw the devs though, this is absolutely ridiculous and is probably super easy to patch for good.
So... I was skeptical and I figured my first shot... let's see how this goes. I play on ps4 and it didn't spawn in. So... I waited 20 minutes. At 11 minutes and 17 seconds I heard the effect of it. So... I will say ps4 users do sub to him. Never watched a previous video but... I will now. Dudes amazing! Awesome discovery!!! ^_^
Thank you so much for the video! Is there a difference between those who ascend by cheating and those who play "normal"? I've seen someone spawning inn artifacts. Is this allowed?
Hey, how does you ascendent gun do so much damage mine don't do tht much and it's ascendent too. Another question how does the bats not destroy your armor?
Because ascendant stuff do different amounts of damage depending on the blueprint. If you’re lucky you can find some crazy damage on them but other times they hardly improve from a normal one. Same with armor durability: if you’re lucky you’ll find a blueprint with crazy durability while other times it won’t have.
ark have some intencional gliches in single player they are traing to make you buy the game i think.. Dinos are not spawning in properly and resources arent respawning as well, so game is basicly unplayable in single player, thats why youtubers play on server even if they just play single player.. Thats my opinion its not like i have some 100% trye info..
Yah i agree, definetely glitchy in single player, but honestly (at least for my experience) it's not as bad as people say sometimes say it is. I still find the game totally playable despite a few glitches here and there
@@Turtello well thats because now its much much better thatn before, i was suprised when i recently started playing that its almost playable on default settings, just need to slide that dificulty level on to max and everything else is just fine, before it was mess.. And you need to paste command for reseting wild dinos every day you play, thats how i fix dinos not spawning glich, and you need to spawn some artifact if it doesnt spawn and some stuff like that, but its 10 times better than before..
I haven’t actually tried but I think you can use slomo (I didn’t in this video cuz I wanted to show it without cheats :) but you can try to use the command :)
You don't have to clear out the area, it's mostly to kill time (to make it more fun than to stand still xd) but yes, a dino wipe should work the same as killing them manually
Something I learn about doing Skylord Cave: 1. Don't bring shotgun as main weapon, they do shit to these creature. Make it as secondary 2. Bring assault rifle or fabricated pistol. You won't waste your time reloading 3. Instead of otters, just cook fria curry. You're gonna let it die otherwise 4. Bring lesser infliction, rabies and torpor infliction is real in this cave 5. Bring heal soup, bug repellant, food, and drink 6. Bring spare all item above in your dino and bed in case you died
@@damientyler7795 Technically yes (cuz you cant jump down to get it), but your body will lay down there so you can use a grapple hook to get it back up :)
