Let’s be honest tho. If you see someone aimlessly wandering around your neighborhood in a hoodie who looks like Trayvon Martin, randomly peering into peoples windows, you pretty much know a crime is about to happen. It is what it is.
@@mmobilegaming9256 im against a surveillance state. Im just saying ur point about criminal control being the solution isnt the only problem needing to solve.
What does "Wrong info" mean? All it does is report things that are outside the norm. Then the dispatcher (or whoever) looks at it, and makes a decision to send police or not from there.
You don’t pay for anything. The majority of you get payments from the government in the form of tax credits and deductions and get more out of the system than you pay in. When you decide to do something with your life besides bagging groceries at Walmart and being a drain on the welfare system, then maybe you’ll have the right to demand “access”. Go back to eating cheetoes and playing on Xbox.
Passive viewing should be fine it just occupys ones time. Expecting to call in or alert it won't happen, they want it to not be distracted by unneeded inputs. They would rather you report/snitch for areas they don't have cameras.
@@survidmt no, it’s clearly because if the footage of the public was available then they’d face a lot of lawsuits. That’s why lots of places have rules about getting bodycam footage.
No offense, but blame the progressive prosecutors that are not prosecuting these individuals so this is a double edge sword two wrongs, but what can authorities do?
@@Allenryan819 the same authorities who are soft on crime are the same ones inplementing this in the name of "saftey" what they could do is hire more cops and train them better, but they won't because this is about control.
@@Allenryan819why do you think the liberal prosecutors and politicians are letting violent criminals out and passing soft on crime laws??? This is the exact reason and I’ve been saying it for years. They want people so afraid they are willing to give up freedoms and privacy for security. Therefore allowing the government to spy on them in a much more significant manner.
I bet you it’s not. Soon it will be able to follow a car used in a crime across multiple states and the facial and gait recognition will only get better. The infrastructure and practice is already there. How do you think the FBI caught the marathon bombers so quick.
My favorite show. I hate that it ended so early. This would be more accurate than minority report. Minority report was about what someone may do in a future sense when it comes to committing a crime. Person of Interest imo, exposed me to how AI can potentially become.
@@gsam3461 uh, no we prefer the 4th amendment and solving crimes. Nothing you can do to stop crimes, crimes have to be committed to be crimes. This doesn’t stop crimes it just records them.
@@chavvy9074 well no, it actually does stop crime in 2 major ways. Many of the worst criminals are repeat offenders. If the technology can help solve crimes, and help them solve faster, it’ll prevent further escalation or repetition by the criminal. 2ndly, it can have a deterring effect on at least some (though obviously not all) of the criminals who know they are being surveilled. I used to shoplift at a Target that had blind spot areas in certain aisles where the security cameras couldn’t see you if you crouched down next to some displays. If I knew those areas would’ve been under surveillance, I would’ve thought twice about shoplifting. Of course, this was back when the laws were actually enforced. If I was my younger self today in places like California with Prop 47 and a district with a progressive DA, which basically legalized shoplifting, I’d be a lot more bold in quickly stuffing by backpack with stolen goods and making my way out of the store.
This is what Captain America warned us about. But it’s a fine line…are we trading our liberties for safety or is fear governing us. Anywho it’s a fine line that needs more discussion but the tech development should move forward with caution and should be used as a tool rather than an absolute decision making entity.
@@Bfkcjscbsnjc If you're in public, you're being watched anyway... what difference does it make? As long as they're not looking in my windows with drones.
@GMBXNY718 I have no doubt the offendong agency would perform an internal investigation that finds no wrongdoing. The contents of which would be kept from public records to protect police investigation techniques...
So like can y'all stop giving bail, and such relaxed "punishments" to these brazen thugs!? but oh let's use AI for surely not too many false positives.....
Holy shhhh#t! See what happens when we cant control ourselves.. 🫤🫤 This WILL be all over the place soon enough. 🎵🎵🎶Bad boys bad boys, what ya gonna do...🎶🎶🎵🎵
I hope this technology helps catch criminals in uniform as well. I foresee a lot of missing recordings due to "glitches" when those incidents occur though.
@@theotheleo6830 Why don't you say you want the government to stop and search you at will? Search your phone, track everything you purchase Track who you associated with and when. If you're not doing anything wrong, why are you worried! Why not let them enter anybody's house and search for it no reason, if you're not doing anything wrong, what are worried about? When does it stop with you people that just welcome more and more government involvement and poking into everything you do?
THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED LONG AGO IN EVERY STATE. CHINA IS MORE ADVANCED IN TECHNOLOGY THAN WE ARE. THEY'VE HAD AI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SINCE 1993. WE MIGHT NOT LIKE BIG BROTHER KEEP TABS ON US....BUT IT IS NECESSARY FOR THE TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN. ... July 2023 my son was attack in Getty square and his head was slammed into the pavement multiple times. He tried to walk away three times. Yet Yonkers police didn't respond in 30 mins. The man walk up to my son in attacking my son and my son defended himself and now he is 21 years old being charged with attempted murder and he has no priors. He took off work to get a haircut. I even came to Yonkers from Washington DC to do a Yonkers voice interview. In court they only show pictures and not the video. How many times do you allow someone to attack you, before or after you respond? So how will this help Yonkers when they watch my son get attacked and do nothing? I wrote the White House and the governor of NY and the mayor of Yonkers and the white House gave me some numbers to call but the rest of them did nothing.
bro we have more surveillance than ever and crime is worse then ever that shit dont work stop recording everyone i cant believe that shit is legal ny sucks
