This set is produced by TCC and is the ‘updated’ version that was re-released on their website. The TCC Artisan Cups are a straight-set and have a rounded Paul Fox shape. The cups feel heavy, feel very nice in the hand, and handle very nicely.
This set is NOT for the collector or someone that wants works of art or wants something made by master craftsmen and wants to admire the craftsmanship and skill that goes into a hand-spun set of cups. This, however, is a solid, high-quality, bang for your buck, good value set that I would actually use is an excellent intermediate set for the money.

Are these cups a step up of Penguin cups? My daughter dropped my Penguin cups from the first floor and now they can't even stack LOL

I do not own a set of Penguin Cups, but based on what I have heard, I would say yes. I think any cup dropped from the first floor won't stack anymore. 😨

I really like the TCC set I got through Michael Ammar (Artisan version 1 I assume).

@@lancewhiteeagle3203 I think so. According to the ad copy, the way you can tell is from the shoulder bead. 1.0 is 'squarish', 2.0 is rounded.

I like Michael Kaminskas’ cups. I have and use several of his Chop Cups and his Cups and Balls. They all handle like a dream and the quality is superb.
