Oh- I was super curious about this one, but didn't end up backing it. It might be a bit too much reading for us, but the "you can sit on the couch' is very enticing. Thanks for the review!

Regarding the numbering in the rule book: I actually really liked this. This way, when someone asks a question on the forum which is answered in the rulebook, I can point them to the exact rule which answers the question, instead of having to say like, "on page 10, the third paragraph in the second column..."

That makes sense, but for me, it made it harder to read and digest. Probably a me problem mostly ;)

As someone who has played through about 2/3 of the campaign. The action scenes get more interesting as you get new abilities and gear. And you also get new types of action scenes.

Even aside of content that some may not like, I didnt back this one for reason that this game seemed completely wrong medium. Like its story is so overproduced it needs 4 books. Thats a content that would work as PC game. And there are plenty of games that kinda have similar concept of story book/campaign like ISS vanguad that doesnt require this level of fluff and have decent sized story book, so my issue was that there is problem with design of games concept. I undestand that Nikki is very story driven author , but this is bit overproduce for BG.

I think it’s fantastic! As noted in the review, the four books are because each character has their own lines. The story in all are the same. My favorite part was when I was reading, and then Sunniva had a line that I didn’t know about. Many of them made me laugh out load. Loved that part :)

Think the story is ok for 10 year olds? Box says 14+ but bgg community reviews say 10+. My kids will be able to handle the mechanics, so I just need to make sure the story isn’t too above their maturity level.

Very hard to say! It’s been a while since we played it. The things we read I don’t think would have been any problems, but I cannot talk for the whole game, sorry! Maybe post a question on the BGG forum? :)
