Raqs Media Collective was formed in 1992 by Jeebesh Bagchi, Monica Narula and Shuddhabrata Sengupta. They live and work in New Delhi.
Their work has been shown at Documenta, the Venice, Istanbul, Liverpool, and Sao Paulo Biennales, Centre Pompidou (Paris), Tate Britain (London), Art Unlimited (Basel), Mori Museum (Tokyo), Ashkal Alwan (Beirut), and at the Hayward and Serpentine Galleries (London), amongst others. They have curated both in India (INSERT2014 at IGNCA Delhi, 2014, and Sarai Reader 09: The Exhibition at Devi Art Foundation, Gurgaon, 2012-13) and in Europe, including 'The Rest of Now' for Manifesta 7.
In this video, they talk about their art practice across media. They talk about the employing time as the material of art, on the affective dimension of thinking, and about the limits of text.
