This video is amazing. I hated most musicals so had now idea what Sweeny Todd was about I just saw a movie preview and it looked like a normal horror movie. It came out on my birthday so of course I had to go. My friends all knew it was a musical but didn’t tell me. Two minutes in and it starts with singing. So I’m throughly pissed but I stay and watch it. It is literally my favorite musical and one of my favorite horror movies of all time. I was shocked that Johnny Depp could sing so well. I thank you guys who are one of my all time favorite bands doing this story justice. Amazing video truly. It’s more art than just a music video in my opinion and you told the story beautifully.

The lead vocalist is Andy Biersack aka Andy Black, he created the band when he was 16. The premise of the video is based on Sweeney Todd, if you’ve not heard of this before there’s a film with the same title starring Jonny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.

Thank you for being such a supportive parent. With your family having your back you can do just about anything and achieve your goals. So few parents now support their kids dreams or even take a effort to be a part of their lives. Because of your support and care you helped bring this masterpiece to fruition because without that support who knows if we would have our favorite band today.

This is the most "Gothic" that they have done in the videos I've seen. Very Sweeney Todd era if you haven't seen the play or movie please do. Great reaction as always you are wonderful.

My own view, without yet listening to any interviews or insights from any BVB member 🙂I think perhaps that each instance with the three are separate accounts that negatively occurred in his life. The boy is a young Sweeney Todd. I can presume that whatever situation occurred with the policeman, he was more violent than helpful. The judge obviously being hateful and aggressive probably gave him an unfair prejudice sentence. In there third occurrence young Sweeney Todd witnesses the priest going after a young girl. The lady in the first two occurrences was his mother. It was hard to tell, but the third occurrence had a young girl. I figured this out because in the credits in the information in the video lists a young girl in the cast 🤔 I could be wrong though 😅

As for the young Sweeney Todd doing that to the present Sweeney Todd.. well, if you are able to follow the original tale, he also ceases to be living in the end, but not by his own hand (past or present) but by someone else’s. I’m going to skip an analysis on why it was his past self who decided his fate because I haven’t thought of it so I’d need brain power I’m lacking at the moment 😅but I believe the premise is that no matter the reason revenge will end in one’s own end as well. 🤔though I could be wrong 😅thank you for making a reaction video! 😆
