Are you happy with the replicas ? I get it but to me it just can't be the same as having the actual fish you caught. I know they make them look realistic...
@@raprock5000 I get my replicas done by joe fittante. There are some other good ones out there as well. Replicas actually look better than the real fish because they don't shrink fade color as long as you keep them out of the sunlight typically better than regular amounts. So yes happy with my replicas but again it depends on who does them
@@craigholland2274 Does he make them to the exact length and girth of your fish, or do you get whatever size mold he has that is closest? I wouldn't be happy if I wound up with a replica that was 2" shorter and much skinnier than the actual fish, for instance.
@@handcannon1388 it's exact , I measured them when I got them back. There's a youtube out there with his son saying how they do that and all fish are custom painted and sized, he does amazing work and I'm picky.
This is amazing, could i ask what you applied to fins and if you sprayed the body with anything before or after painting, also do you soak the skin in borax/water or DA/water? Thank you
@@bondedbynature1153 using 1.5litres of denatured alcohol and 1.5cups of borax. So far so good ! What type of lysol do you use? There's sprays and liquids , just the normal lemon lysol you can remove the top.
