Wow, far better than I could even dream to do...but the head is too big. The addition of whiskers pointing ever so slightly forward would make it even more impressive. Especially as it is hissing.

that "ugly log" is a VERY expensive burl and any bowl turner would have loved to have it. I guess ugly is in the eye of the beholder.

This is not an "ugly" log! In french we call this a "Loupe" and it used to be very expansive. In english I think the term is "wooden burl", not sure.
