👨 About the host Julien Delagrange:
Julien Delagrange is an art historian, contemporary artist, and the founder and director of CAI. Delagrange studied Science of Arts at Ghent University, Belgium, and worked for the Centre for Fine Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels, the Jan Vercruysse Foundation, the Ghent University Library, and has contributed to the international contemporary art scene as an art critic, lecturer, curator, gallery director, consultant, advisor, and as an artist. As an artist, he is represented by Galerie Sabine Bayasli in Paris, France, and Gallery Space60 in Antwerp, Belgium.

I really appreciate the work that you do on your channel. I don't see anyone else providing this type of information. Even if these opportunities weren't to work out for the viewer, these videos sharpen our senses to make us more aware of potential opportunities around us. I often joke around in an attempt to lighten the mood (since there are many trolls), but I really do value your efforts.

I trust you are thriving there in Flanders land… Thank you and Perrier for that real time guided tour. Artenda is a great resource for me… still working for great results … other than continuously refining application materials : ) It’s relevant your pointing out worthwhile opportunities that charge a fee. I usually skip them… except for Jackson’s Art Prize. Plus it reminds me to shift my filters sometimes… as it may be that some things aren’t coming to my attention. Lots of good work. Enjoy. Hi Janet, I am doing great and trust you are too! Yes, the fees is often a tricky thing these days. In the past, all good art opportunities were free of charge. However, today, due to the increase in applications, some really good art opportunities simply have to charge an application fee as well to manage the administrative costs of being able to process all these applications. Dear Cai, you cannot imagine how your videos and advice in these 2 years is lifeand career changing I just I have been selected and won many art residencies from Berlin to the UK I am just traveling and have many exhibitions, just by following each step you made videos! you are the most amazing mentor of my career! I am now very satisfied just thanks to your video, I have studied master's of Fine Art at the Academy of Rome and after I got a P.hD in contemporary art but none of them are useful as your videos and channel! I forgot to mention could you kindly make a video for the project sketch! I feel very weak at it! even in Artenda there is no video about it! and also about fabric and textile art or successful artists in this field as even at the Venice Biennale, this year was full of Textile and fabric artworks! many thanks in advance

This is so interesting, but what is the catch do you work for free like do you have to give up your paintings or do they get a hefty comission? I didn't know about this, great video!
