Thanks for the comments Jeff! We agree - unfortunately in this room space (or lack thereof) is a premium, but we agree, it would look super cool and enhance performance!

Knowing what I know about acoustic treatment and placement, it's not a proper set up. Good intentions, bad strategy. I see things that don't look right at all. Wrong treatment and wrong placement, etc. Oh well.

Yeah, you have to have as much free space between the speakers. the amps are fine as they are low to the ground and aren't going to really cause much problems.. But the rack? Yeah, move it behind the listening position. I have NO idea why one would put 3d diffusion in the center of the front speakers. I'd put 2D Quadratic in the rear of the room behind the listening position. It looks like it would confuse the imaging. I would rather have vertical quadratic diffusion, more surface coverage, and definitely some low frequency absorption around the entire perimeter. Those things in the corners? I'd get rid of those. I just don't care for their choice in treatment and placement. Oh well.

You don't need most of that gear, but audiophiles like to fill their rooms with racks of pretty boxes :) Plus they're selling it and that's the way audiophiles seem to set up their gear I guess

Hi @Paul K - this room had the full involvement of Artnovion from conception to the finished product. Domestic sensibilities are different to studio requirements, Artnovion (one of the world's biggest acoustical brands) are trying to design products that work as advertised and don't have to be "ugly".

Hi @Greg Anikin - we can only assume you did not watch any of the video and see the bass traps being installed on both sides of the front wall.

They were left on for approx 500 hours. Then the speakers were run through the WASP and moved/tweaked ever so slightly before being taken off. Far easier to do all this with the wheels on at the beginning of ownership!
