Fantasy just came back to bw as well and did not-terrible against snow. Still lost pretty badly but not as bad as you'd expect from someone who hasnt played competitively since kespa era.
@@louonthesun3325yeah, he did terrible thing to his stream. He’s gone like 2years ago, and his only rival, who was evenly matched was Last. And even though Last had best skill and wonderful personality, he had to rest league cuz of his wrist wound made by his overwhelmingly fast and accurate play. So Terran lost 2 best players, and Light is their successor to the Terran throne but he is considered to be lesser then Flash and Last yet. Dark time for Ts.
@@Pandyzandy Stealing a worker with a dark archon is not the same as '''kill him with dark archons ONLY'' but the fact you wrote ''He actually did'' shows you don't read well or have a room temperature I.Q.
LMAO this was so straightforward it was ridiculous... he just made a lot of goons and then attacked. He was so high up on supply (like 150 vs 85) that he didn't need anything else, he just sent the goons
I like to imagine Snow as the actual Protoss Executor but as a complete Troll: Tassadar- "Only the Dark Templar's power can truly harm the Zerg. That is why we must rescue Zeratul and return him to Aiur!" Aldaris- "You were warned Executor. The Conclave will not be pleased." Executor Snow- "HAHAHAHAHAHA"
The sound clip of this guy giggling ARTOSISUUUUU I KILL YOU AND ALL YOUR TANKS -- should be put on a T-Shirt and sold at the next BW tournament. What a legend. I guess Canada 0 - South Korea 1 000 000. Well done. Best of luck to Arty the next time - from Latvia.
Man, I'm just happy to see these guys being friends, having a lil BW together. Arty not even in Korea anymore and he can still connect with the pros for chats or games, and I love that.
After watching 4 Artosis vs Snow videos in a row, and then watching the Scan vs Snow video. I think one of the major thing Artosis is doing wrong is not building missile turrets and science vessels in his base early on to counter Snow's constant spam of observers. Artosis spends too much time laying mines that do basically nothing cause Snow always has an observer to detect them, and literally uses Artosis's own mines to kill him in almost every video. Whereas Scan always uses com scan, vessels, and turrets to counter Snow's observers, and focuses mostly on actual mass production and micro rather than spamming vultures to lay mines. In other words the lack of vision and constant attempt to lay mines and vulture harass tactics doesn't work against Snow. You just need to focus production and straight battling. Like Snow had 12 gateways while Artosis only had 6 factories which meant he was always going to be out massed. Same with all the other videos where Snow has a ton of unit production buildings where as Artosis always only has half the amount. Not to mention Vultures do 1/4 damage to dragoons since concussion damage vs large. Which was another reason why I think Scan did so much better against snow, where he spammed mostly tanks that have explosive damage in tank mode, and he spread out his mass of tanks in siege mode.
Well played, Artosis! You fought valiantly, but alas it was the opponent who was superior this game. His macro was flawless, his micro impeccable, his decision making quick and his willpower unassailable. I suggest you watch the replay and take notes of his playstyle; encountering a player of such calibre is an exceedingly rare occurrence. You should consider yourself lucky!
Ask him re and i play......is one of the greastest memorys i own....this riveraly will forever make me think of Scan smashing on Snow...this was a fun game an thank you both for making it possible. Arty check under your bed and in your closet before you sleep Snow is a real life monster....
I find this game really enlightening too. Like, most games I see, I see them through the lens of artosis, someone who is ready the game, not planing it. I don’t watch the games of himself streaming while he plays, he stresses me out. It’s fun to see snow narrating his own games. The thinking process and the reaction to artosis playing seem so controlled, to me it always seems that he thinks he’s really in control of the game. I find it interesting though that his initial decision was so simply “in this game I’ll only make dragoons”. It says a lot about this match up. In a lot of other matchups you have to have a much more diverse technology tree. I don’t know if there are any other matchups where you make only one kind of units.
As B league player I can't give advice, especially since I'm protoss. But from what I've seen. Artosis had plan, it's good. Even higher 300+ apm, than usual his ladder apm. But his little decisions show the limit of understanding details. 4fact, 5 tanks ok, and should have wait for 2 more tanks (had 300+ vespen) also wait for vulture upgrades, before this send scv to count goons. There were 8 (4 goons exchange for 5 tanks...). Tanks should be moved forward, after them marines (linked to tanks if you want) and not 2, but at least 5 scvs (if you go push do it straight) because after you lose 5 tanks your 3-5 additional mining scvs no so important anymore, esp vs 12 nex. Long story short: Wait for 2 more tanks, and 2 vultures. Don't build too many vultures, because you don't have attention, time to put mines with all of them, while microing your tanks. 7 tanks, 2 vultures, 4 marines, 6 scvs would be a lot more better (by that timing Snow would have 10 goons max, coz his additional 2 gateways were building, while you had 4 factories ready). Shoot goons one by one, or make group of 7 tanks group with 4 tanks to oneSHOT a goon (for example you have 7 tanks on key1, and subgroup of 4 tanks on key2).
Has arty ever won vs snow? Like he should set up some game where snow does some weird cheeses/meme builds while hiding a base and cheese him back with hidden base stuff.
MAn. You have to max out and put your siegetanks a little closer together protecting with vultures against drops. when 200/200 building like 4 more Factorys and at the same time moving out.
MR.Artosis, you should visit Korea someday on the day of Snow's fan meeting. Many Korean fans of Snow are practicing martial arts while waiting for the day.
This guy is unbelievable. However, I would REALLY like to see one thing from Artosis: Analyze the **** out of the replay and try to understand why EXACTLY he lost that hard. Every detail.
@@mostverticalproductions4808 ah i wasnt the one who started that joke truth be told lol but yeah i got back into sc last year, been playing 1 and 2 on and off since ~2006 (or since launch for 2)
