He didn't say that Yarde's punches were not hard only that he, Artur, was the faster one especially in the context of Yarde saying Artur looked slow . He then says he thought he didn't handle Yarde's punches as well as he'd like to. Please change your clickbait title.
The reporters are seriously bad at asking questions that non English fighters will understand. Many fighters don’t even learn English at school. Keep it basic! “Do you think he packs a punch?” That’s not a sentence you’ll use on a guy from Chechnya 😂
@@bladesilver7619 I’m Norwegian, but we learn English at school, watch English/American movies and listen to their music. It certainly helps. “Pack a punch” more or less means “hits hard” or “hits well”. Maybe a combination of the two. “Good at hitting”. I’m sure somebody else can explain better. But language barriers like this is when it’s almost like figuratively speaking rather than straight forward language. Most languages are understandable for non native speakers, if were never speaking figuratively. But most western countries have a lot of it, and we don’t even recognize that we’re doing it, we’ve just learned it that way.
What I. Like about arthur is makes great adjustment during tough fights . Commentary during fight saying arthur was hurt from yarde shots so hes backing off 😄 nope just making footwuork adjustments in how to land his counter bombs.
Ur a lie coz Atur was really hurt that's why his face was bruised and cut. Stop making barterbiev look unbeatable coz u make him look like a machine but today Yarde proved that Atur is very human. Atur would make adjustments after being hurt not that being rocked was a strategy, no no no!!! Regardless of whom we support lets learn to say the truth and the truth is both boxers are warriors and respect to both
What u understand about boxing... if fighter face bruises up during get fight don't mean he's hurt more his facial skin just marks up easily 😄 watch fight again every time yard landed hard shot arthur straight away came back at him with even harder shots which hurt yarde many times. Arthur was not hurt once in the fight.
@@donjon8352 Ur analysis is biased coz don't deceive yourself, despite that Barterbiev would respond to almost every Yardes attack, that can't conceal the fact that Artur was also hurt and the fight was far from a one sided contest only that ur biased in your analysis and ur not objective and ur writing as a fan of barterbiev. In my case I like both guys but iam first a fan of boxing before I am a fan of any boxer thus my unbiased analysis. This was a close fight coz it wasn't like the way Mike Tyson or George Foreman would demolish strong opponents like they were pulvarising a mugged victim, in this fight it was a slugfest
Anthony Yarde exposed how STRONG Artur Beterbiev is. Respect to Yarde for giving a good account of himself but he was clearly outclassed. Artur looked stronger than Yarde when they exchanged punches. Anthony Yarde needs to work on his jab. Work on keeping it consistent, hard and strong throughout a fight. Learn how to pace himself WITH a fast consistent jab and score points in the process. He also needs to take a knockout IF it comes but don't look for it.
@@cypriankassiankavera9227 Yes, he DID out class Yarde. And we could see how Yarde was becoming weaker and weaker each round until it was only a matter of time. And the fact that Yarde got knocked out in the 8th round PROVES he was outclassed.
Beterbiev definitely felt the punches. He was forced to reset multiple times and even tried to grab Yarde's right arm after some shots. His body language clearly showed he didn't like it. I mean people could say he's the boxer in the ring and he knows better, but sometimes athletes refuse to admit truth. Serious props to Yarde for taking Beterbiev to deep waters. He definitely did not expect this tough fight. There is a video of Artur's cutman saying something similar to this.
@@jasonahdjfhsdfg A demolition Job would have a been a two to four round one sided beatdown. This fight was clearly a competitive matchup and one of Beterbiev's hardest fights.
Just because he reset doesn't mean he felt them. I think he was talking more about the pain of the punches, rather than the force. You are talking about force. Of course Yarde's punches have force and stopped him in his tracks - he is a big dude, but sometimes in a fight you dont feel pain because adrenaline is pumping.
@@gatekeeperboxing5898 yea but Arthur was still clearly winning lmao ppl be acting like Yarde was winning and shit but he got like 2 or 3 clean hard punches in but after that Arthur gave him like 10 back
He certainly did feel Yarde's punches, on a few occasions it stopped Beterbiev in his tracks where he had to regroup and shake it off. But the man has one hell of a chin to absorb those punches. Unfortunately, Yarde lacks experience at this level, and isn't able to capitalise on his power and speed. But i can see Yarde picking up a title down the line.

Dude was knocked out in the 8th round. Y are people trying to push the narrative that it was close, highly competitive. Berbetiev looked much better in most situations in the fight.
Why do these commentators ask stupid questions of course he’s been hit harder, Johnson decked him, he was never in trouble against yarde and if any of those judges had beterbiev behind they need looking into
No it wasn't a bad question, and no, it doesn't mean that Johnson hits harder. At this level and weight, everyone hits hard, Beterbiev mentioned this in another interview. What usually knocks boxers down is not seeing the punch, or seeing it late. Johnson hits hard, and caught Beterbiev really well with timing. Yarde does hit hard, but he lacks the experience that these boxers have at this level, to really capitalise on the power he has.
Yarde did OK, but failed to impress Callum Johnson who is of course the only one to convincingly drop Artur and wobble him. Bivol will not go the distance with Artur. Artur is no Canello., as Bivol will see. There is little wind up on his punches making him appear slow perhaps - until he gets you on the ropes or in a corner.
Comments before the fight was yarde had no chance. People saying fight won't go 4 rounds. Bookies gave yarde no chance. Now we just witnessed one of the greatest fights for a long time. His face shows yarde hit hard and Yarde coach frew in the towel to early. I've seen fighters more hurt carry on
Sorry I don't stop laugh about this delusional commen... Yarde expose nothing. Beterbiev controlled the fight from round 1 to round 8. If Canelo fight Beterbiev his career is done.... Why do you think he don't pick beterbiev with the IBF and WBC belt? Even Yarde beats Canelo. He is too small
Don't forget Yarde has a bulletproof belt on his torso, yet it didn't help 🤣 him to get the W, instead he got stopped lol. 90-10 in favor of 🤣 Yarde cuz he has a armor on his torso and he has the Judges on his side, yet he lost, what a shame, b0xing is corrupt lmao.
I noticed every interview Beterbiev when asked this question about Yarde's power he does understand the question but deliberately scrolls past it to downgrade Yarde. Monster on the mic...he's really reminding me of IVAN DRAGO. I want to say " If he dies he dies."🤣😂😂🤣😂
Barterbiev saying he didn't feel Yardes Punches is a joke coz look at his face it's a mess. The question if he felt Yardes Punches is irrelevant coz u can tell from all those cuts and bruises that he felt Yardes Punches and it was a very close fight and Yarde made a good account of himself and no push over as most media platforms were insunuating. If Yarde can work on his stamina, he will be a piece of work.
Close fight??? he got stopped lmao. his lucky he didn't go 12 rounds with Beterbiev or else his ribs would be broken piece by piece and don't forget the corrupt judges tryna robbed Bet3rbiev and what tf. is that bullet proof belt on Yarde's torso, another cheap cheat sh1t just to avoid B3terbiev's lethal body blows lmao.
Beterbiev controlled the fight from round 1 to 8. Yarde spit his mouth mouthpiece twice, the ref gave 2 break because of that. He had padding under his belt, he was saved several time by the bell, The ref count was on 18 seconds. Beterbiev was never hurt during this fight. He kick the a** of Yarde. Yarde won 2 rounds max. 68-65 beterbiev easy. Just watch the boxing stats. We know the history of boxing corruption in UK. Beterbiev won against Yarde, the judges and the ref. Beterbiev should never return in this country again. He was also robbed in London 2012 against Usyk
@@GTari-ob6bj artur's mentality is there but bivol took less than 10 shots per round in his last 5 or 6 fights bro. as long as his feets are under him, artur won't even close the gap to chin him. even yarde took like 60 power punches before goin down man. bivol is the fastest and most fluid 175 pounder. I give artur a chance of catchin him clean with one shot to close the show. after seeing this fight, I feel like that chance is little.
@@krimo7622 i think that was a tougher fight for Beterviev than this one, Gvozdyk was a great technical fighter but couldn’t resist the punches , i think this is whats going to happen with Bivol if they make the fight ando don’t wait to much time if not Beterviev will be almost 40 and age doesn’t help
yard has Kos but against who???? quantity dont mean shit its about quality and Beterbiev has BOTH Yard has no name Kos he lost by KO 2x for a title shot
