That's as gentlemanly a thing a winner could ever say. Nothing arrogant. Nothing pitiful. Just pure facts and respect. Well done to both men! Yarde is a hard man. If Yarde had had fought a Joe Smith Jr today, who is a puncher too, Yarde would've dismantled him just as Beterbiev did back then. But Beterbiev coming off surgery was patient when he needed to be, calculated throughout and brutal when he saw the end. Unless Beterbiev declines rapidly or the pesky promoters/WBC/Canelo try to stop undisputed, he's going to be undisputed. Bivol is a wonderful fighter and he'll stretch the fight out, but Beterbiev will get to him at some point, and that'll be that. As long as this mandatory nonsense is sorted out with the WBC, undisputed should be next. I feel like Eddie & the WBC want Callum Smith in next to beat beterbiev 'cos it's all a ploy to get Canelo Alvarez a shot at 175lb Undisputed. There's a reason Canelo wants Bivol next and doesn't want Beterbiev. If Canelo wanted the Beterbiev fight, the WBC would move Callum Smith out of the way in a heartbeat! He has the profile and a list of titles to his name. He doesn't deserve the fight more than Bivol, but we know boxing is weird like that. And Callum Smith doesn't deserve the Beterbiev fight but they're pushing him. It's all very strange! The guy that beat Canelo and has a belt is being moved to one side whilst a mandatory who lost to Canelo and hasn't fought at LHW for long is getting a shot??? If anyone else is given the opportunity to fight Beterbiev outside of Bivol, I call BS. And as a fan, I'd be angry on his behalf. He's 38, 19-0 with 19 KO's - If you're not going to give him undisputed now, you're definitely trying to make sure he doesn't get the chance!

agreed, esp. on the point how Beterbiev adapts his plan to the opposition. I hope the fight with Bivol comes to fruition-- no dis to Bivol but he'll be KO'd as well imo. Regardless, best to both men.

Beterbiev was hurt multiple times. He was fortunate to be facing a relatively inexperienced fighter. '[Yarde] is at his best the first 3-4 rounds' Yet his best rounds came later...

I had the same feeling, like he could have finished that fight whenever he wants, I think this kind of a match was more promoters thing, they probably told him to take it slow, to let Yarde get some good moments too for two reasons: 1. He (Artur) would get more attention and props ironically, cause if he beat him easy everyone would say "oh arthurs beating trash cans" 2. Its Yardes hometown and his fans, wouldntt be nice for that people to pay tickets just to watch their man get beaten in 2 rounds

Yeah and the mouth piece was iffy and the belt armor was too thick and the judges were corrupt. Beterbiev just dodged a bullet.

Bivol cannot avoid Beterbievs power punches for twelve rounds.Beterbiev is probably the only boxer who can beat Bivol and he will.

Nah he had a harder fight against brownie, This fight was one sided for the most part, Yarde had two good round and that’s it. In every round Artur was getting more stronger. I never seen him fighting with tooth and nails yet.
