The last sequence is the best, it's an arpeggiated sound that you can vary at will, but overall it's well researched, lol! Alright. I also have a Matrix and it's also a treat in terms of sound and very neat and prestigious design, with noble materials and even more beautiful and impressive than the PolyBrute, it's a magnificent analog synth that I will never regret to have bought...
As far as I can tell the matrixbrute does damn near everything, and makes it convenient too. If I ever get serious about music, I'll probably want one... but for now my sonic palette is already far bigger than I know what to do with. With a microkorg, microbrute, and kaoss pad, it's rare that I can't get a sound I want... and my main limitation is inspiration. But still... I love the depth this thing offers, and I'd love to have one.
congratulations ! IMO one of the best sounding demo of patches for the matrix. I like your taste !!! all your patches sounds so warm, velvet, fett and noisy. I also own this synth and love it. you should sell your sounds !
Wow, one of the best demos. When the percussion loop started near the beginning I asumed it was a sample that you were about to play over. I'd def be considering this synth if it wasn't so damn big. Hopefully they bring out a desktop in the future, although I'm not sure how they'd condense even that.
Mine shows up tomorrow in the post, can’t wait either. Versatile beast it is. This Big Mono fits in a hard niche to fill. Patch Cords or Patch Matrix? Depends. Neither is perfect really.
It's worth saving up for; even if you can set aside a hundred dollars a month. In two years it would be yours. Even sooner if you have other gear to trade in. It replaces all but the most classic, high end monosynths. In other words, don't sell your Minimoog or 2600, but you could sell your Mono/Poly, 101, CS-15, or MS-20. It is really that good.
