We have come to a point where modern VSTs and modelers have surpassed their brethren. With dynamic range, sound quality, convenience, and reliability, I don’t see a point in going back other than nostalgia
Yes the first gen of these EP models sounded pretty fake. These latter ones sounds fairly convincing to the point you really can't tell you are hearing software.
I dont hear much Woodwinds in the augmented woodwinds, it just sound like any sound any hardware keyboard could get close to. I wonder if it has just clean woodwind sounds that are realistic?
The very first two patches you played are ones I have in my Logic Template ready to go each and every time… and probably always will be. I found those a while back and they are just solid sounds… just subbed as I can see we will have a lot in common 😂
