Great surprise, fantastic clip! The Mompou piece sounds just like Bill Evans who was a great admirer of Michelangeli. So was Miles Davis. Thus Michelangeli sound has had a profound effect on the way piano jazz sounded after Bill Evans. Thanks for sharing this treasure!

Che classe! Dei pianisti classici non sopporto la gestualità estetizzante, mi suona sempre falsa e pretenziosa, invece Michelangeli anche nella postura e nei movimenti è elegante, aggraziato ma asciutto. Un gigante della musica.

I liked Isacco Rinaldi's playing at the beginning too and got slightly annoyed at Michelangeli humming over the top instead of listening to what Rinaldi had to say
