Honestly, if Bertans would have made that 3 pointer against Germany, Latvia could have even beat the americans. Coach Banki would find all their weaknesses and players like Žagars would be going crazy. Who knows, Latvia maybe could have even been world champions from that point on. Latvia with the 5th place in the world and 3rd place in Europe :) well done 🇱🇻

I remember back in Manila my friends just pass the ball to everyone to make it easier to score and they are small players and they beat big players 😆 We could have wished Gilas Pilipinas have won more than one thru this kind of discipline 😃 Basketball is life and commaraderie!

Well as Latvian I would say - why not? Because at least in Nevezis he had minutes and play time not like in Spain just guy who sitting on bench and maybe play 2-3 min.@@TheMoneyideas

Yes, Lithuania was less focused than us but really when Latvia can shoot 50% from 3 point line and we have a playmaker like Žagars was even if this was not his scoring night, any team would struggle to win… but since Lithuania could not hit the 3s, at one point this looked like USA-Italy game and I am Latvian and my sister said while watching that she felt bad about Lithuania losing like this
