I laughed right off the bat when you were evicted from the chickie and chairs at Playa Linda; we’ve owned there since 1987 and were just there for the last two weeks of November. Eduardo’s recently expanded and added huts to stand under. You hit most of our favorite places to eat. Im definitely checking out Cafe 080 next year! We get our croquette fix at Paddock’s across from the Renaissance, Bugaloo’s on DePalm Pier, and, believe it or not, Jack’s Cafe in Super Foods.🤣 The rainy season takes places this time of the year but it was especially rainy because of a storm system that wouldnt move along too quickly. Cafe 080 is the place that stood out for me. The Dutch sampler with their papaya hot sauce looked wonderful. Owner seemed like a cool dude. Would definitely hit up this place in Aruba

im a student here in Aruba. The thing about Aruba is that it has the variety food wise to attract the tourists but thats really it. Most places do not leave you wanting more. The 2 places that I enjoyed were RedFish (popcorn shrimp) and shoco shack (pastechi). Some places like that famous ice cream truck is all hype.

Great video. Linda's is great. Palm Beach is very busy but great restaurants in the area. We never went to Charles drove thru the town looked a little scary and definitely not at night. When we go back will have to try some of the other places you guys went to

Hi Sandra! Thank you so much for watching! Y'all should definitely make a trip to Aruba! It's a beautiful and unique island for sure. The Riu Palace looked awesome and is a great option if you want to go the all-inclusive route. We decided NOT to stay at an all-inclusive since we were wanting to experience the culture a little more and get away from the resort area during our stay. We stayed at an apartment about 5 mins from Palm Beach (the main tourist area) called Turibana Plaza (www.booking.com/hotel/aw/turibanaplaza.en.html?aid=7965308&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2). You Can see a short video of it here... ru-vid.comxYOFyZKa8dY?feature=share. It's away from the tourist area and nothing fancy or luxurious, but it was perfect for what we needed. If you're wanting something a little nicer and closer to Palm Beach that isn't an All-Inclusive, we would recommend the Radisson Blu (www.booking.com/hotel/aw/radisson-blu-aruba.en.html?aid=7965308&no_rooms=1&group_adults=2) I hope this helps! Yes! It was super easy driving and getting around. Service was typically pretty decent, but we always recommend downloading “offline maps” on Google Maps before setting out anywhere. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!😊

It depends on where you’re staying, but even if you’re staying in Palm Beach (the American Hotel/Tourist area) but want to see more than just the small area around your resort, we recommend getting a car.

After reading your comment I was curious about the different pronunciations and found that 'how-duh' is the Dutch pronunciation (and technically the "correct" since gouda is from the Netherlands), 'goo-duh' is the American-English pronunciation, then most everywhere else it's pronounced 'ghow-duh'. I love your videos. Excellent job at portraying the island. We have been to Aruba many times and consider it our second home. I noticed you stayed by Turibana. We started staying their when it was new and used to stay their all the time but recently we started to notice it seems a little run down and customer service is not as great as it used to be.

Geeze, you did not even scratch the surface. e.g. Peruvian restaurant in the low rises, Argentinian grill in Palm beach, Infinite, 2 Fools and a Bull, Que Pasa, Bavaria, LG Steakhouse. There are a lot more. You did not do credit to all the choices available. Been traveling to One Happy Island since 2005.
