Like many other fields, ballroom standard is also a discipline that’s quite hard to appreciate its full without being in it for a long time. For anyone who has dedicated themselves at least ten years in this field, we would marvel at how the couple makes everything so light and effortless. There are many details, especially in standard, that cannot be seen. They are so nuanced and internal to the body. But without them, with trained eyes you can spot the lack of it.

The sign of a master is if he hits the 1 beat perfectly, with ease, and manages to put all his weight over the moving leg and through the moving leg and foot, so it is a light heavy slow. And at end of 3 he has a "beauty stop" (as Arunas has after 1-2-3 of Natural Turn) to mark the end of the bar, and perfectly glide into the next 1 beat of the coming bar.
Beautiful videos I see from you guys! Would it be like possible to do like a technique video based on whats important for ballroom dancing or for beautiful figures like in slowaltz, or other dances? Would be a pleasure

If you like dancing that is very musical, technically correct then this is the couple to emulate and arguably the best ever, but not my favourite. i personally cant go past Marcus and Karen Hilton, they had it all, including a beautiful chemistry, charisma and floor presence as a couple that I've never felt in this partnership. As a spectator I prefer more charismatic couples like Michael and Vikky Barr Luca and Loraine, William Pino and Alessandra, Christopher Hawkins and Hazel Newberry, Massimo Giorgianni, Mirko and Allessia just to name some of my favourites to watch. I've always found Arunas a little boring and expressionless. I don,t look at dancing strictly from a text books point of view.
@@BrogenDavis33 The entire world loves Arunas and Katusha. This waltz on this channel quickly became the most popular and greatest dance on the channel. People love it and view it more than all other wonderful dance demonstrations given to us by the honorable Szymon. So I think we should be polite to the 10 times professional world champions, a couple the world will never ever forget.
@@helgechristophersen7665 that may be on this channel but not on others...I think Szymon is a more beautiful dancer and an inspiration than Arunas, and I've only just started watching his videos. Ive watched Arunas and Katusha for years. again they DO NOT inspire me to dance, they aren't in my eye's champions. they are political.

So please, get back on your space ship and let us know how the view is from up there. By the way just a tip for you. As much as you would like to think you are, you aren't the world authority on ballroom dancing and as is very clear by the many responses to your posts, many knowledgeable people including me, disagree with much of what you spruke on about..
Even though Arunas is considered to be a champion in his own league i mean both of them but they're just a boring couple to watch. I agree to those people who disliked Arunas. Yes! I respect him for being the current champion but there's something about him that's a little bit dry...They're just too bookish...Not my cup of coffee...I rather see a passion driven more of kinda flamboyant type of personality in dancing. Not Just pure steps and figures...Sorry...! That's all i have to say. My very own opinion regarding this couple.
я не понимаю почему им отдали первое место. партнерша классная но бизокас никак не танцует на первое место, не по технике, а по презентации, я думаю всем заметно что чувак танцует с низкими локтями.
