Arya Is Still Broken... 

I really hope they nerf "signature moves" that provokes spamming, if nerfing them makes the character trash then just buff the other moves that makes them trash in the first place.

That ability that u died to from shaggy is his neutral special, when he presses his neutral special after charging it, he can use neutral special again to release a shockwave that does a bit of knockback, tho it is way better in teams because he can dash to his teammates (ironically like Arya's dagger dash) and release a shockwave but it costs him its rage. Good move to use to get out of a combo. Weird explanation but here you go. Also, It's so underused (cuz it's not rly a good ability tbf) that I never see people ever using. Anyway, speaking of Arya, I agree that her neutral game is practically nonexistent. I feel like they should massively tweak her whole kit and also give her better signature perks. Like 1 is completely useless in 1v1s and the other is... meh. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and all, but compared to other characters, she's lacking not just in her perks but also her skins. How come reindog gets like a skin every update but arya can't even get 1? Like wth, come on. Shes really meta rn. Shes running the 2s ladder rn After watching this video i get what you mean, shes really dependent on her up special its sad. Characters like rick and black adam encourage long string combos but arya has mindlessly easy combos she can pull off with up special PS: the title was a bit misleading

The more that time goes on the more I actually like Finn from a design perspective compared to the other assassin's.

I think what Arya needs is a speed boost and to make the up special work all the time but either do less damage or less knockback. Speed buff would effectively buff most of her moves and then making the up special reliable yet less effective would make her kit more balanced

It's so frustrating to play Arya. And I'm Rank 4.291 Worldwide (1vs1). Got Arya at Rank 3.800 and it's just painful..

Aryas neutral is to recover your meter back. Think like an assassian. Be patient. Use the spinning dagger to move around fast when needed.

IDK I'm a high level user of her and one thing I noticed is I win without spamming up specials I use up air more then up special and most of the time i win because of my F.G fundamentals carry me even in the ditto

Do you think that servers and ranked gets released with season 2? I play other games and I feel like that’s something big enough to come with a new season drop. Also I’d love to see another multiversus original character too like 1 every or every couple seasons and then keep doing the known characters regularly. Also hoping for the new stages possibly with s2.

You have to fish to hit her up special. Fishing is a skill. Can't everybody do it and note that people use different lures, weights, and lines to fish. I really try to think like an assassin when I play her. Crouch over the pie so people can't see it, go to your dagger instead of fishing for the up special, stealing faces. One time I stole someone face and they got confused and fell off the screen because they were trying to move the wrong character. Other things is crouch towards the edge of the map then do the dodge roll. There's lots of things that you can do. She does have a couple super bad matchups but that's the same for any character.

Alr I wanted to say a thing, as a bugs bunny main i want to say that the bugs bunny hole is so broken i start the animation i got it the hole doesn't dig and thats fine but i get the cooldown is that fair? Second thing when im underground and exit from a hole really quickly the holes get one on top of the other thats so annoying and the hole take much time return and i cant just use it well when the bug happend

I feel you! I agree entirely, I’ve been saying she needs a small or big rework. Or her moves need more depth, the “meta knight” move lol for example should have double/1.5 more knock back if you hit your opponent in the back with it. Things like that would be cool

Hmmm I do like her moveset as it is. Is meant to be limited to do confirm kills. It takes skill to get close for the up special, tho.

i hope multiversus thinks more about 1v1's since right now all the balance is in 2v2s and now 1v1s has its own meta made by players, which is bad in its own way because if players make a meta their not gonna pick a underrated character that requires skill. i hope silly queue doesnt fall into the same category as 1v1s and co-op vs ai in which multiversus leaves the players to create their own meta and it becomes a intoxicating environment

I disagree. She's fine. I use perks that make her heavier and more sturdy. Makes a big difference if only because people aren't expecting her to not fly through the air because she's usually so light.

When I watch ur tier lists videos, I obviously think about where you’ve put the characters and compare my opinion to yours and think about what ur saying. And for most of the characters whether I have an opinion on how good a character is. But Arya, I don’t freaking know where she is in the meta. She’s so weird. One minute I think she’s Godlike and the next minute I think she’s trash. If one of my friends wants to start playing multiversus and they ask, is Arya good, I just go, urrrrrrr. Cuz she’s so odd the way that she’s been designed 😂

If I got a dollar for every time I get Arya up special as a garnet. I’d be able to buy WB and ask PFG to Change Arya to be better.

I see what you’re trying to say with buffing the rest of her kit in order to stop making the up special combo feel like a necessity, and I agree. But I feel that if something is spammable and it works, people are going to use it anyways, and that’s what’ll will make her OP and everyone will freak out even more. I think you need to nerf a characters “bread and butter” moves a bit to reduce overuse while elevating the rest of the kit to match.

for the people who hate arya, she isnt really op but that up special / up air combo is downright disgusting, i think it would be fair if it did less dmg/knockback and maybe make it so that if it doesnt hit the first hit of up air the second hit does not launch the enemy at the same height

When you started talking about signature moves and how if you removed Arya’s she would be trash, it made me think of stripe. I’m not throwing shade towards stripe mains, I am one myself and I enjoy him a lot, it’s just the fact that if you take away his forward air, he would be a ton weaker. You would have less combo openers, less kill power, while he still has combo game and is able to kill, it would be so much harder to do it all, as you lost his best move for everything really.

It’s legit not fair to have to fight Arya if You’re not on a 3 bar you just can’t dodge out.

I think the reason arya is so broken is because she has a 30 to death my solution to the problem is don't make arya up special automatically follow up ur gonna have to buff her other stuff but thats literally the solution to the problem

In my opinion, Arya isn’t broken, and I admit I have a bias towards her because she’s one of my mains after Batman. I still have success with her mainly with the perks that I use. -This comes from a perspective of a top 300 Arya player (aka, not tryna flex, me)

You are right that she has nothing except her up special, but because of that shes completely broken and easy to play, most of the top players on the ladder are high with arya without even being that good. Its just so easy to play and too strong, If I hit any other character in high ranks except shaggy I would say, they seems to know their character and do some nice and hard combos but arya is just always the same thing, you can do the exact same thing over and over and its hitting consistantly while doing way too much damg for 2 attacks

It feels like you want the character to be different because you like them outside the game. It's okay for characters to be different. Not every assassin needs long combos. Some characters can have weaker neutral in exchange for things. Most of your complaints kinda boil down to "I want this character to play in a way that I enjoy becaues I like ayra from GOT".

Do any of you actually play the game based on the mechanics because brah you don't know what you Talking about the game is played WITH COMBOS.....people baseing the game off crashing your character into another one why don't you all learn COMBOS instead of pushing for 1 good move per character YOU SOUND LIKE YOU NEED SKILL instead of spamming...for Arya us other attacks with STRINGS not just 1 move
