This scenes broke my heart. They had two years to come up with a good ending. Sad.

Arya saying "I know a killer when I see one" is an extremely subtle and a genius reference to the fact that Daenerys killed hundreds of thousand people. Truly one of the lines of all time

Arya is a literal genius, I would never have guessed Daenerys was a murderer.

Everybody had encouraged Jon to kill Danny and when he did they got rid of him. 😂

These last 3 Seasons had so Much potential, especially season 8. It's amazing how a show can start out as a Raging Inferno and end as a single match being blown out by the wind. It's really sad.

Maisie and Kit had so much chemistry. It's such a waste they weren't in more scenes together.

Jon looked a little spooked when her turned and saw Arya. Part of being an a good assassin, they never see or hear you coming.

It was smart of Arya to mention Sansa’s opposition to Dany. Appealing to Jon’s loyalty to the Starks & his need to protect his family may have helped his decision

Arya is so perceptive. The charred bodies and burnt out buildings would never have alerted me to Dany being a killer if she hadn't told me.

Do u realise that this is the ONLY Scene of Jon and Arya after they met again? After we have waited so long.. Then we got like 1 1/2 minutes from them both. What the..

If you watch her death scene Jon went in hoping that Dany would convince him she didn't need to be killed..but when she said "They Don't Get To Choose" that sealed her fate..you could see his face change and he knew it then. Those were the words that got her killed.

There could be a whole meme of Arya recognising things when she sees them.

For me the only truly satisfying thing about this ending, was Sansa and Arya's strengthened sisterly bond. They truly learned to appreciate one another over the years they were apart and it can be seen in every scene they have together. They grew to mutually respect and trust in one another to the point that even siblings that grew up close with one another sometimes don't even have.

The title of this video needs fixed. I makes it sound like Arya went to see Tryion.

I love the way Dany looks at Jon before walking off with her guards. she's like, "I put so much energy and hope into you and look at what's happened.. I helped save you and everything and everyone you loved and here i am stripped of family, friends. Here I am stripped of the love I fought to keep, stripped of all the mercy I had left to offer the world.. Very well."

I think many people misunderstood Arya's words. Of course we see she's capable of killing, Arya meant that she wouldn't stop. This would be the first of many massacres.

What was the purpose of Arya even fcking being in Kings Landing. To take up 20 minutes of episode 5 just running around and making us think she died like 5 times??

The 3 stark kids literally manipulated Dany and John for getting Bran and Sansa in power... They used Dany in Battle of winterfell... used John in killing her and get punished for that and not get the throne, just so Bran or Sansa could get it.... Tell me if u agree!

Arya telling Jon that Danerys is a killer, isn’t just pointing out the obvious 😂 She’s trying to get through to him because he loves Danerys, and wasn’t yet convinced to kill her. All the same it was a bad line.

This cast and the story was so amazing and they just threw it all in the trash 😩 props to the cast for pushing through and giving the best performance they could with what D&D gave them.

What do you think Dany is thinking when Jon and her stare at each other? Honestly, I don't think she's thinking Jon is a threat to her. But at this moment, I think she realizes everything between them have changed forever.

The realization just hit me that Super Faceless Assassin Arya could have saved Jon all that trouble and killed Dany before anyone could find out who done it. Even that would have been a better ending than what we got.

I love how Arya and Jon are wearing almost identical armor and clothing. Really nice big bro and little sis moment.

But the way Jon touches Arya, so gentle, as though even though she could kill him a hundred different ways, she'll always be his tiny, spirited baby sister. As though all those years apart and all the things they've done have done absolutely nothing to how he sees her. As though if he's too rough, she'll disappear like most of his loved ones.

People say Arya’s “killer” line was too obvious, but in reality it isn’t. Keep in mind Jon still wants to believe Danaerys has some good in her even after what he just witnessed. Arya is basically telling Jon to get that fairy tale out of his head because she will come hard after you. She will come hard after us.

Like how Arya just appears right by Jon's side...all stealth...

There's a lot of sarcasm about Arya knowing who a killer is when she sees one. But let me interpret it this way for you: She is having a very Frank conversation with Jon. About revealing a little about herself to him. She's very subtly telling Jon that she's a killer too just as he is. Arya and Jon kill for very different (superficial) reasons, but they come from a common ground - justice. They kill for justice. Dany on the other hand hardly killed for justice. She killed for vengeance, to protect herself, and now she did it to attain power. So that people know who's the new boss in town. Arya just revealed herself to Jon indirectly. And Jon connected. Jon was not surprised as he was the one who gave her the nudge so many years ago by gifting her Needle. Jon never saw her fight (her training with Lady Brienne was only conducted in Sansa's presence). But Jon had heard she is a faceless man. Seeing the truth of that in Arya's eyes took him aback. But he didn't further give much thought to it. He had a problem. Dany. He vouched for her and she betrayed him. But Dany knows he also betrayed her. By telling his cousins about his ancestry. Dany presumed to know that he understood why she burnt the city. He betrayed her. She also didn't want to win the city without a fight. So she fought the people. She also wanted power. All her desires were fulfilled in this act. Thus, this serves as a warning to Snow to never betray her again. In her books, she has gained the upper hand and she indicates that she is in charge. She's the defacto ruler of Westeros. Or, the queen. Varys was right about her all along. And Sansa was right in not trusting her. And Tyrion right about feeling how he felt in the aftermath.

I like to think GOT taught us that not every ending is a happy one. Id say they were consistent🤷‍♂️

“I know a killer when I see one” would have been a good line from Arya as a trained assassin, would’ve been fitting with the character relationship had it not gone static … but it was very obvious by that point D&D. Also makes me think “man season 8 would’ve been so much more interesting if Dany actually had considered killing Jon” and given her purported madness, that would have made more sense than Jon very reluctantly killing his girlfriend for the realm.

Ayra just told Jon what he already knew in his heart but was resisting coming to terms with. Even after she burned thousands of civilians, he still took a final attempt at trying to pull her back from the dark side, but it was too late for all that. She had officially crossed over for good. Hence the knife to her chest.

I think that there was probably no one in the world that Jon would have liked to have seen more in that moment than Arya. His closest “sister” and easily the most dangerous. Probably felt pretty hopeless in that moment, with no idea what to do. Had to be some comfort in her being there

Dany has been a villain in the making all along, for a multitude of reasons. Even though the series/ finale was rushed… it doesn’t change the fact that she was a tyrant- extremely entitled, and delusional that she will conquer & All will Love her. She is no better than any other character trying to sit the iron throne. Crazy how people were absolutely shocked…. It’s all in the books people!!! She is not a Saint, and her ending in the books will surely offend many as well

Jon should’ve escaped king’s landing with arya with the finale ending at winterfell, dany comes with her entire army and allies to winterfell, gives jon an option either kneel or die, jon then has to make a choice , similar to the king who knelt, jon declines to kneel, dany then says dracarys and drogon breaths fire but jon is unhurt , he is a true targaryen, jon then takes out his longclaw and proclaim “ i jon stark, son of rhaegar targaryen and lyanna stark, the first of his name and true king of the seven kingdoms, lay my claim to the throne” jon has finally accepted who he really is and what he should be, the battle begins , Now this can go two ways , 1) the end that was already there that bran sits on the throne, if that’s the case then bran needs to live , therefore as the battle begins , the north obviously is losing, the north is later joined by the riverlands , the vale and the baratheons mimicking robert’s rebellion. A moment comes where it’s just drogon vs jon and jon realises he is going to die when a sound can be heard, ghost with nymeria and her wolves can be seen charging directly into drogon, bran can play a role by warging into dothraki soldiers killing each other, for a moment dany on the ground as she fells from a seriously hurt drogon can look directly at jon, the unsullied take the chance to chain jon , everything stops, as everyone watches and drogon is able to overthrow the wolves, all is lost, dany commands greyworm to kill the traitor, greyworm moves forward with a sword in his hand, jon sees something in him and asks “ what do we say to the god of death?” , greyworm replies “not today”, greyworm in a swift movement of sword cuts dany’s throat, drogon rages but is soon is impaled by a spear from a scorpion by sansa at a distance. The north has won. As jon rises, the lords of westeros kneel byt jon asks them to rise, and asks them “ how many more deaths? How much more blood and fire? How many more sacrifices are required to fill the thirst for this throne? I don’t want it, i never wanted it.” He looks at the bleeding corpse of dany and says “she was our queen, she wanted to break the wheel, but the throne corrupted her, joffery, stannis , renly , ramsay and many more did unspeakable things for it. Isn’t there a better way i ask?” Yara replies “ who then? If the throne is empty we keep on fighting each other, if anyone sits on it , the other only wants him down, there is no better way” tyrion who escaped with jon comes forward “ perhaps there is , sons of kings can be cruel, all of us here are the most powerful people in westeros, can’t we choose one” yara replies “ i suppose you want it ?” Tyrion “me? Oh no i’m just an imp, i like power but titles are not my style i’m afraid, it should be jon” Now if we truly want bran, then jon needs to decline the offer after which he names bran, he asks the lords, what makes a good king? Perspective, only a man who can see from others point of view can make an informed decision. However if we want jon, then jon accepts , it works because jon is made king not on the basis of his lineage but because he truly deserved it. He swores celibacy as well and makes king a duty and not a title, all kingdoms shall remain independent in some form, the crown will act only as a union and we see the first seeds of democracy being laid out. In both cases tyrion ends up as hand of the king.

They should make a spin-off of Arya going around Westeros and Essos making obvious observations: - at the Wall: Jon, you're now protecting a useless Wall with a hole in it from Craster's daughters - in King's Landing: Grandmaester Samwell Tarly. The only Grandmaester who is not even a maester. Bran, you are the only king with 3 hands and no legs. - in Oldtown: this looks like a very old town - in Essos: Drogon, she's dead, just burn her. (Drogon: don't you think I tried, she just won't burn) - Iron Islands, Bear Island, Casterly Rock, Dorne, Horn Hill: hey guys, you have no rulers. Just use an app for measuring stuff - Naath: hey Grayworm, not feeling very well are you? Did Missandei forget to tell you about the disease that kills every outsider who comes here? It's fine, it's not like you were gonna procreate. Then she goes to find what is West of Westeros. It was Essos all along.

They should’ve switched Jon and Arya’s kills it would’ve made more sense if Arya killed grey worm and used his face to kill Dany

Dany was giving Jon the cold shoulder in this scene but in the next scene together, she’s all in his arms declaring her love... like wtf this doesn’t make sense.

I couldn't take this scene seriously. Because I thought she took off leaving king's landing with the white horse on the previous episode. Not just that but she cheated death like 3 times by the dragon fire and destruction while all the other civilians didn't.

"Not that I've seen" is a fair answer. Jon's not going to pretend to knowledge. He just didn't see, and so can't say. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist, just means he didn't see it himself.

This should be titled ‘-Arya tells Jon what he should have already figured out if he wasn’t the stupidest person alive’

So, we finally have the true reason for Arya becoming a Faceless Man. She needed all that largely off screen training to furnish Jon with the fact that Dany is a killer. It’s a good thing she was there!! Dany publicly killing all those innocent people apparently wasn’t enough for Jon to grasp that fact.

The one thing that really got me when this first happened, was how much people were surprised by Danny's murderous ... episode. Like, did you even watch her portion of the story? Pretty much every step of the way, Tyrion and her various followers had to rein her in from taking the most bloody and violent actions/choices pretty much at every turn. Sure, she originally and generally meant well, but she was still always a hair's breadth away from totally losing her shit.

Arya : i know a killer when i see one. she wasn't referring to Dany at that moment .. Remember that D&D directed the episode, so they were standing behind the camera and Arya was looking straight at them when she said so.

In starting of this scene when Dany sees Jon the background music is a mix of truth and targaryen power. That's nice to hear

While the writing isn't good, what Arya says makes sense. Arya is saying that Daenerys would kill Jon in cold blood JUST BECAUSE of who he is. She HAS killed in war, for revenge, out of spite for real wrongdoings. However, she never really killed in cold blood. Arya sees that she could and would, so she warns Jon.

Sad to see a person with the titles rightfully earned like Breaker of Chains and Mhysa or Mother driven to insanity. The people who killed her drove her to this point though it doesn't absolve her of her crimes. Sansa broke her oath, Daenerys was poisoned. Her confidants were killed. Her only remaining relative rejected her. Her dragons who were her children were lost. She couldn't even have a family of she wanted to. Seeing Missandei die in front her was the last straw that was her sanity the camel back. When she comes back to her senses I am pretty sure she would have been heart broken. For a person who killed the masters who strung up children on crosses and burned with righteous anger wouldn't have stayed heartless all the way. Literally every person of interest has killed somebody in this show. People forget that this world of GOT is a bloody world. And plotting to kill Daenerys happened before she killed innocents not after. So, Sansa, Tyrion, Varys and even Bran were just making a power grab. A few of them got it too. Would have been nice to see a Daenerys not loose everything and become the queen she had meant to be, the one who wanted to break the wheel not this empty shell driven to insanity.
