As China GDP grows 5.3% in the first quarter of 2024, headwinds persist 

China's GDP grew 5.3% in the first quarter from a year ago. That growth is stronger than expected, mainly thanks to robust growth in high-tech manufacturing of products like 3D printers and EV charging stations. Manufacturing is doing the heavy lifting while there are still significant headwinds. CNN's Kristie Lu Stout reports.
