I think the speaker in the poem is admitting he is a flawed person, and has made a lot of mistakes and changed his mind and all-- but he's saying it's not too late for them (him and the girl he loves) to get back together... and start their relationship afresh.. cause he loves her. am i crazy or what? anyone else agree?
