AS I LAY DYING will be performing select dates in Latin America and Russia this September.
The band will then be on tour in Europe throughout September - October w/ CHELSEA GRIN, UNEARTH, and FIT FOR A KING.
AS I LAY DYING will then close the year with a U.S. tour this November - December with support from AFTER THE BURIAL and EMMURE.

I like my core bands as much as anyone, but they're trendy and contemporary punk honestly. But it is a downcast statement to lump As I Lay into an inferior group. I know the guy didn't mean anything by it. They are a killer band.

But my greater point is that most of these "live" albums are either recorded "live" in the studio (KISS Alive!, TON's Origin) or are HEAVILY touched up after the fact in the studio. Listening to this audio, literally EVERYTHING is on point, from the guitars to the backing vocals. There's just no way the raw performance sounds this perfect, and I would love to know just what percentage of that is the case.

I saw them in March at Baltimore Soundstage and will be again at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Maryland in November. I'm hoping to meet Tim and the band again and everyone else on tour.

Sick. Saw these guys earlier this year in the tour before this one. Was an amazing show, played all the classics. Wish they were coming back to FL for at least one date.
