If we don't write our answer to the required sf used in the raw data of the question, do we loose our mark or still get it?

For 6 a), how do you know temperature decreases? Shouldn't resistance increase since V = IR?

A filament lamp is a non ohmic conductor it doesn't obey ohms law, there are 3 non ohmic conductors(filament lamp/thermsitor, semi-conductor diode and Light Dependent Resisitor) you should learn the their properties

skill issue, we take the theta from the plane of our light which is going to be hitting the filter. After going through the first filter our light is at an angle of 35 degrees to the vertical, hence if we were to apply the formula we would use the difference of degrees between our light and the 2nd filter (thats the answer we got from solving the formula, 17) but they asked for alpha, which is the angle between our second filter and the vertical so we add the angle which we know the light is at and the angle which is measured from our light before it hit the 2nd filter (17). so we do 35+17 and get alpha. hope this helped im bad at explaining so read it through a few times. ALSO GOOD LUCK FOR TMR I HAVE MY EXAM TMR ASWELL

@@user-qg6io7hy6m oh .... 😅 my bad but for that question you just have to think about what would give u the largest wavelength no? like if u only make 1/4th of the wave in the tube then the wavelength with me the largest but if u make more of the wave in the tube then it would be less. I guess he was confused about the open part being an antinode and the closed part being a node

As it's a stationary wave and half of a stationary wave is 1/2 lambda this is 3/4 of a wave so hence 3/4 lambda, as we calculated the wavelength in 5b i)0.20 we will plug that value in the place of lambda in 3/4 lambda so it wil be 3/4 x 0.20 which gives the answer 0.15
