I'd agree. As per my last email, I don't think this video moves the needle enough. We need to really pivot and define our true north for future glocalization projects for greater net returns.
@@sasquatchanbearhunter we should look at current climate and analyze the best solution for a synergistic strategy. So let circle back on this at a later date.
Damn I was listening to the video while driving so I didn't actually see that before reading this message. Guess I'll have to just not watch the video for now and circle back to it later hoping I forget
@@DiscoPornoSatan Thank you for your prompt response. Yes, I did circle back to it and I now understand the true north of @Jakob's comment. However, I would like to request we take any future questions about this subject offline.
I work in IT and I use "As per my last email" ALL THE TIME. Because most of the time the emails are instructions or policy explanation and the person ignores my email and replies CCing their supervisor. So I always reply with "As per my last email...etc" and 90% of the time it makes the supervisor intervene and support me. The phrase so gloriously undermines their complaint.
Office lingo I absolutely hate: "we've had an opportunity!" used in place of "problem"/"mistake"/"broke"/etc. I recently got an email that read, verbatim, "This morning we had an opportunity! One of our trucks had an opportunity and as a result our deliveries will be delayed today :)" Its forced optimism, it makes things confusing, and it's fucking infuriating.
I really feel like this video has empowered the fans to embrace the company culture and leverage our core competencies to be on the bleeding edge of this robust cloud industry......
Fucking outstanding storytime. Busted up laughing. Especially with chat chiming in shit like, "Wait, Subways was around back then?" and "You got Private Johnson OFF?"
Really cool to hear your perspective on being a military brat; I was one myself (even got to live in Germany for half a decade -- we may have been at the same base at the same time, based on how old you say you were when you were there), and it fucking blows lmao. Glad to see everything worked out in the end.
Such amazing work Atrioc, I really love the idea of your videos it’s feels entertaining and inspiring at the same time, you made me love marketing and trying know things in my life even more than I was, keep doing what you’re doing!
Oof I watched a few seconds of this when he first posted it, and I feel like I'm going crazy. He was talking about office stuff, and now he's talking about his dad in the military?
Compass actually finds magnetic North, which is distinct from true North (the point at which the axis spins). I think that info adds a bit of complexity to the saying since it acknowledges that some of our most reliable instruments and measurements can lead us astray.
To be pedantic, a compass finds _magnetic_ north, which is a few degrees off of _true_ north, the specifics depending on your location on the globe. 0:26
Thank you for reminding me why I'm becoming an engineer. "Help me out over here", "fuck off with that", "right bud, whenever ya can". Done, perfect, simple, no jweird, "ehehe well, looks like we'll have to unplug and replug the modem on this connection for next time eh? ehehe" or whatever the hell.
Atrioc man, you literally had me laughing. Lud can do it sometimes but you it’s a homer in every time baby. And the little did you know song had me cracking up man. Really great content
