This morning, the ISU announced that the gold medal in the team event at the 2022 Olympic Games would be awarded to Team USA, the silver medal would be awarded to Team Japan, and the bronze medal would be awarded to the Russian Olympic Committee. The focus in the Russian press is on Kamila Valieva and how the Court of Arbitration for Sport could be so harsh to a teenager. Yet, there remains little to no discussion of the role of Eteri Tutberidze, Dr. Shvetsky or the Russian Ministry of Sport.
