As the Earth Diminishes- Shaykh Hamza Yusuf 

My mother passed away on Tuesday 30th March 2021. With her children around her, reciting kalama and praying for her. May Allah SWT bless her and all Muslims with maghfirah. May Allah SWT expand her grave for her, fill it with light, fragrance and fresh air from paradise. May she be protected from the punishment of grave. May Allah SWT resurrect and join her with the righteous. May Allah make us a sadaqa e jariya for her آمین ثم آمین.

I decided to name my newborn son Hamza because I want him to be your student In Shaa Allah.

I wonder regarding extreme nature of people....On one hand there are some knowledgeable, wiser people yet refuse to write books as they are concerned about accountability in the hereafter. On the contrary there are many people who publish books, comment, broadcast things that are not true/have no knowledge regarding those issues in social medias; and these things can deviate readers/ listeners/viewers from truthfulness. Here comes the role of teachers, parents and the society where we grow up. Although I came across some good teachers who helped me in getting knowledge that which is required for survival here, this Sir's lectures make me understand the reality of this world. May Allah swt make us among the people of understanding, InshaAllah Jazak Allahu khair

Salam aleykum sheikh Hamza Yusuf! May Allah swt continue to bless and preserve you!! I know what you are talking about I am from a small village in west Africa Guinea (Fouta Djallon ) when I visit now I can’t believe my eyes after 20 years everything have changed .I remember vividly after magrib prayer all you could hear was the humming sound of the Quran that was grand parents generation they have all passed away may Allah swt have mercy on their souls . I miss those days now the new generation have electricity and Facebook very sad how things have changed .

Peoples around the world ask the wrong questions about the QUR'AN revelations, verses to the last Prophet Mohammad peace and blessings be upon him. The same patterns of haters continue to make their evil way until Qiyamah, they have been planning and ALLAH knows with a subtle plan which is much more important than imagination and trouble makers can conceive. Wait then for they're also waiting. There is perfection in QUR'AN for people gifted with knowledge and intellect. It is the best rhetoric for humanity to study, earn your bread and make a healthy living, not in conflict with sciences but threatening to evildoers, persecutions and criminals. ALLAH has perfected the religion of ISLAM and a complete way of life that peoples may enjoin what is good and reject evils. The good question is who are the peoples who enjoin good and who are the evils mongers. There are clues in the QUR'AN about the RULERS vs. Subjects, despotism attract Calamities and destructions for both and only a few survive. Examine the Qur'an and the moments of history, facts and truth reveal itself. Look around for the momentum of no return is closer than you might think. PRAY not PREY like PREDATORS. SALAAM
