Thanks so much for uploading this episode!!! It is like seeing old friends and family again!!! This episode is packed full of so many of the wonderful Oakdale residents that I love seeing again. Bless you and extreme gratitude once again!!!
I show my Mom these when I find them. She is 93 and started watching ASWT in 1954 when she married Dad!! She watched "her story" until the end in 2010.I am surprised she is so sharp to remember so much about storylines. Mom's favorite is Lisa and the "Willows" and Holden and Lily on the Almafi Coast.(she made Dad take her there btw!). Thankyou for making these clips so Mom can "remember"!!
I remember watching this episode! I loved how Kim was so domesticated and seeing them all in the kitchen, something you did not see too much, mostly Living room scenes, that's why I loved ATWT Dr. Bob, Lucinda, Barbara, always so much Drama; that was the best part.....Thank you, so many Great memories, seeing the Actors , from Yesteryear!! and wow Eileen Fulton! Loved her too!!! and all the Snyders at the Farm House
If you loved Lisa Brown as GL’s resident busybody Nola, you’ll LOVE her as Iva Schneider on ATWT. She had this endearing quality that made you root for her in this role too.
Yes the real Craig with Scott Bryce and Finn Carter before hogan sheffer ruined Craig with hunt block and turned Craig from bieng Craig to more like tonio Reyes hard to believe do Mclaughlin who was Chris Hughes would be gone and die shorty after this period just after Doug Marland fixed a wrong mary Ellis bunim and the dobsons did with dropping Helen Wagner and Don mcglaughin to recurimg in 1983. Or what she did to Eileen Fulton as Lisa. Ohh yes mitch Blake and the dark room. On aw. But at least at atwt from November 1985 to March of 1993 they did not go through headwriters or eps like aw. Only one executive producer change when Bob Calhoun went from as the world turns to guiding light in 1988 or 1989 and laurance caso came in as ep. Also John valente who was briefly ep at aw replaced Micheal liabson as producer at as the world turns in 1988 after he went to aw as Ep and got promoted now if only had Douglas acted as a, story consultant in 1989 or 1990 how much better aw would have looked and been story wize while still serving as headwriter at atwt.
@@hotgritz4sho For me the role of Nola was much better than Iva. Nola was a lot of things on GL, and she started as a massive troublemaker and blackmailer, and dabbled in classic movie fantasy daydreams, was thrust into Indiana Jones type adventure with Quint and Silas, and more. She went from villainess to heroine during her arc. On ATWT Iva was basically a good egg who had a secret or two from her past.
I so wish episodes from the late ‘60s through the mid ‘70s existed. But sadly they don’t. 😔😔That’s when World Turns was the number one rated soap. Some amazing storylines during these years. 😊😊
Gosh, wonderful to see these episodes again. Remember those kitchen scenes so well. Maybe a "family tree" should be designed to remember names and who they belong to. So what happens at the anniversary party?? The story line just stops. Hmm?
Always found her fascinating, and fun to watch. I watched ATWT in the mid to late 80s, and Lucinda Walsh was often my favorite part of it. Liz Hubbard was fantastic in that role. She took the scripts and practically reinvented them, making Lucinda seem like a genuine person who was flawed and marvelous and naughty.
Lucinda, although usually cool and together, could often be a powerkeg of emotions ... and a massive threat to someone she deemed a problem. Loved her.
Cannot imagine this show in this era without that cozy farm. Granted, 2/3 of their offspring were bad seeds, lol, but it was a good setting for the show. Seth was probably the most decent of the brood. I loved the episode where his mother Emma yelled at him for not pursuing his own life and always sacrificing things for the family/farm.
