This here Christian was standing up and cheering for you, Asaf. I don't think you were bragging at all. In fact, I was impressed by how moved you were afterwards. Here's what I thought when you were struggling in English to explain how you created this: You wanted break dancing to be bigger, stronger, bolder, more creative, maybe even spiritual. And I was TRULY blessed watching you dance, and I felt it. Today, I sent your video to all my Christian friends. God anointed you to dance, and I'll bet you feel His pleasure when you do so. I hope you win the entire thing, best dancer, not just best Street Dancer. My friends and I, we will be praying for you, Asaf!!!!!
This dude has nice original moves, looks fantastic and plays a bit to the camera. It was dance entertainment at it's finest. I think he'll stick around; a good job.
This is spectacular. Using dance and your very own culture to make such an artistry is such a thing to be proud of. I will never get over how amazing this was. Never.
THAT WAS FREAKING AMAZING!!! This arrogant disrespctful judge ate his hat ! This Asaf guy is outstanding I couldnt stop watching this dance this was amazing! good luck!
And for those who feel he was insulting his faith by throwing a talis on the floor, get a life. He brings joy to those who watch. He inspires any that seek greatness. He has a great sense of humor and terrific energy.Anyone that makes the world better through their art, anyone that brings a smile to others is in no way shape or form, insulting to anything. You are the man Asaf. Please keep being you.
alan dvorkis You can love this dude, think he's talented and that he's got a great sense of humour; and still believe that throwing religious prayer articles on the ground is disrespectful. I don't see the contradiction.
Daniel Dizengoff That was one of the FINEST representation of the talit and shofar I've seen in a long time!!! The dude has even explained with his heart on his sleeve about opening the gates of heaven for our prayers. that's a million % more believer than anyone claiming this was disrespectful. Grow up. Remove your veil. This was Incredibly heartwarming and touching way to be a PROUD Israeli! To be PROUD of his background including talit and Shofar in a way we are yet to see repeated!!!! Kudos Asaf!
Sarah Talmi I think it was heartwarming and touching his breakdance, and I love that he proudly represented Israel and his faith, but I still didn't like seeing a Tallit - a central garment in the synagogue service, being thrown on the ground. The same way I think it's disrespectful to crunch up in a ball and throw ones countries flag on the ground. So once again, great performance and performer, not as great handling of sacred prayer ware. No contradiction. Oh also, I'm quite grown up. Thanks for that.
Sarah Talmi True, I forgot his heartfelt explanation of the power of the Shofar. That totally proves he respects his religion. I understand where people might feel he was disrespectful, but as I wrote above, believe that anyone that can bring a smile to my face with their talent is doing good for the world.
I honestly thought he was going to suck. This was one of those never judge a book by it's cover moments for me. Praying he makes it onto the show, can't wait to see him work with Twitch. FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!!!. That first move was sick!.
So sorry to see Asaf leave tonight! He was getting better and better at choreography. It seems like all the ladies are commenting on his looks, but what I liked most about him was his personality. He just sparkles when he dances. The show will be a little less brighter without him!
Wow. This guy has a future ahead of him. He's got athleticism, charisma, and uniqueness. (Also if I can say so, I thought it was a little odd of him to throw a religious article on the ground. Just a thought....)
I have never heard of Hebrew breakdancing but I love it!At my church we have those horn things and never even knew what they were called.Anyway, I am here to say that Asaf has an adorable personality and he is so fine!Do all the boys look like this in Tel Aviv!I am so sad he did not make the top 20, but he came close. But Asaf I hope you audition next year.Till then, stay dancing and looking hot while doing it!lol
Out of respect, he takes his Chai off when he dances. You can clearly see he wears it proudly in his pre interview. I am sure he is proud of his country, proud of his religion and in no way means disrespect to his heritage.
Thanks for posting this so I can watch this again. I was not excited about this season until I saw this a few weeks ago, and you blew me away with your talent! Love it!
I still remeber this, representing us w pride ! 🇮🇱 He went on to become more religious and then won celebrity Ninja Israel - easily😅 ! Incredible talent. ❤ Asaf
